Pre school community team have said to take him in to look not letting go of his hand and then walk out again, go for a walk in the playground and then try again.
That ^^^ makes sense to me. So he know's it's ok there, and you're there til he feels comfortable.
But :j for your sleeping baby. Was it hard work?:beer:0 -
nothing like that would work to be honest, its when he gets something in his head theres no getting away from it. If the same happens tomorrow i will phone the old place and see if they could get someone out to stay with him for a while, i told them he needed someone but they didnt think he did? now yet again its me that has to deal with it all and they just sit back. He hasnt said a word in the nursery, he just went about his thing and didnt go near any other children or staff, they must see that this isnt right. sorry for the rant as im in a bit of a mess about it and cant stop thinking we are about to head backwards again.
Ein also got app through for her inturned feet, any idea what they will do? not had to deal with this before? What's for you won't go past you0 -

Aless- I would probably go for crayons rather than paint......I've not braved H with paint yet!
Can you find a playgroup where you can go try out paints rather than doing it at home? That is what we do .
I had a lie in until 5:58 this morning. Luxury :rotfl:Yesterday we were up for half the night, then fell asleep together on the sofa at 6am. I was just a little bit late for work, but never mind. I asked nursery to keep her up all day then kept her up a little bit later than normal. She woke in the night once, but only for about ten minutes, which isn't too bad. I still feel like I could do with going back to bed for a bit though!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

SS, I seriously hope no student EVER submitted a paper in Comic Sans!
We had some wake-ups last night, which is very bizarre these days...only a couple minutes of whinging before falling back asleep, but it was still odd. Hope it doesn't mean something sinister is on the horizon!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

not sure if any of you saw my Fb posting about Charlie? he hurt his head at the nursery and got a fright about it, however he refused to go today and actually made himself sick getting worked up about having to go. He then started to beg me to get the bus to come and to phone his old nurse and he wanted her and howled for over an hour shouting her name. I got very upset and wasnt sure what to do so kept him at home, now im worried he thinks he doesnt have to go??
Pre school community team have said to take him in to look not letting go of his hand and then walk out again, go for a walk in the playground and then try again. Easy to say but i cannot get him out the door! Im getting myself all worked up just thinking about it and he is really missing the old place
First thing is to stop yourself getting worked up. If he can feel tension in your, he'll pick up on it and get worked up himself. Try and stay calm if you can.
Don't tell him where he's going so he thinks he's just going for a walk and then say "ooooh while we are passing, lets just pop in" and it stops him building up worry about going. Work on all the positive things that happen there and let him remember the things he enjoyed doing best.
Off to work this morning and going to try and get to boot camp this evening depending on how my nose feels.
Have a good day all xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
Hello
Thought i'd pop in here today, seeing as i haven't been on for a while again.
My toddler has a bit of a cold, mainly his nose is causing problems as it's all blocked up and he couldn't breathe through it last night. He keeps pointing to his nose saying 'nose NOSE! NNNOOOSEEEEEE!' then trying to sniff...I feel sorry for him, but it's also very cute how he keeps reminding me hes got a blocked up nose
He is worse then a girl for liking shoes and clothes, he now tells me what shoes he's going to wear and has a strop when i tell him no and get a different pair out! When we last got his shoes measured, he picked up a pair of trainers but it was from the adult section and even though i tried to explain they were too big he wouldn't let go of them! I just know this will get worse as he gets older! He also likes to have his rucksack on his back, and looks really pleased with himself as he walks down the street with it lol. He's a funny child
I hope everyone is well

Hi all, Have a question...
My little boy is nearly 4 months old and my hair is starting to come out in clumps - big clumps! Is this normal - could it be my hormones? (Luckily I have fine hair but lots of it, so it's not obvious, but this has been happening for a week or so now)
