Pleased you had a good time Vroom. It's not as hard travelling with little ones as people think it is.

    Still coughing here :(

Charlotte came out of school with a present and said it was for me. I unwrapped it and it's the cardboard inner from a roll of sellotape and a polystyrene chip. Lucky me :D

  • Mit3 - I am lurking on the ttc thread, haven't actually started ttc yet.

It's not going to happen until next year.

    Morning

Trying to decide if I can afford to send the boys away on trips or not. I'd really like them to go, but money is tight :o

Still coughing here. Off to work this morning with a couple of jobs to do, then my Mam is coming round later. She is missing seeing Charlotte and me as she used to look after Charlotte before she started school.

Have a good day all xx

Becles.. If they are school trips could you ask at the pastoral care people see if they can help? We had bits of trips knocked off a couple of trips which were in the weeks after KH left as they have a budget for families in hardship.. I ebayed loads of stuff to cover trips for this year.. we have had 5 to pay for.. and now DD2 is after going to Lourdes next Spring which means a passport and the trip...

I bet your mum feels like her limbs have dropped off with all the extra time in her day.. it must be very difficult.

James' is a school trip but it's not part of his studies. He does rugby after school and the teacher wants to take a group of them to Twickenham to watch a match live. He wasn't sure of costs or anything when he spoke to me last night, but he's going to find out more information for me today.

Josh's is through his football team. They want to go and play in a tournament in Blackpool and ideally they want parents to go too. I've said I can't afford for us all to go, but said I could maybe send him on his own if someone else would be willing to keep an eye on him. I feel a bit crap doing that but it's better than not going at all I guess :o

My parents have had Charlotte every morning since I went back to work when she was about 8 months old. They're really missing her and it'll be worse after the end of September as they are both retiring from their afternoon jobs.

I'm a bit worried about them getting bored :o Neither are like "old people" and they're still active and young at heart. When we went to the caravan, my Mam was playing football and table tennis with the boys.

its a lovely autumn day here:o

went to a messy play group before, the baby fell asleep, so we left early and took the hounds out. No kids on the field day, just lots of dog walkers! x
