    Morning

That's an awful thing to say to the twins delain. I'd be wary of sending them back if she's going to say things like that.

Hope you got some sleep pigpen and hope squeak feels better. I love you :D

Good luck with the house hunting rach. Have you seen anywhere you like yet?

Got Charlotte at home today as it's teacher training day so school is closed. She's asked to do several things, but I said she had to pick one!

Have a good day all xx
Here I go again on my own....

oh pigpen we love you! hope squeak did get some sleep and that you get to see someone about the possible whooping cough soon. I remember my sister having it. I did google and find a walk in centre in your city but i'm sure you're capable of doing that yourself. i only knew they existed cos of my mum!

Ooh there is one? I'll have a check.. might come in handy at some point!

Squeak coughed herself sick 3 times and set off the movement alarm 3 times.. after I went to bed.. she managed it twice before I went up! She is asleep in a bundle of sicky towels... needs another bath.. and at 8:11 I got through to docs.. amazing yes.. ?? ... they had 4!! appointments left for the whole day.. 8:30am, 2:50pm and 3:10pm... and 10:10am.. and 'squeezed' her in at 3:40pm when I said she is 10 months old and may have whooping cough! So in 11 minutes every appointment had gone!!! Then I gave them the wrong DOB lol.. I said she was born THIS August not LAST August... well I had literally just fallen out of bed after another awful night with her. I have the most evil sore throat as well.

I see a looooooooooooooooooooooong day ahead.. on the plus note a guy is coming to give us a quote for plastering the girls room :D About half 3 so OH will have to deal with him.

    Morning everyone,

Hope squeak is ok Pigpen, nice of them to 'squeeze' you in!

Delain - that is horrible of your MIL to do, that is their sister she is talking about.

Rach - hope the bf training goes well.

Becles - have a lovely day with Charlotte.

I had a pretty good night. Managed to get Poppy to sleep at 10 pm which has got to be one of the earliest yet and much better than 2pm. She even slept through OH coming back from work and slept till half 3. Took a while to get her back in her moses basket after feeding but then got another couple of hours. Got up with her at half 8 which is early for us in the hope her body clock is going backwards.

She is still asleep in her nest of sicky towels... I have, it seems, dealt with her in my sleep as I have no recollection and there are sicky muslin squares on the floor in the corner..

I am glad I didn't change her bedding yesterday like I had intended to! :D

Wonder what time she will get up today.. it was 11:45 yesterday

I hope Squeak feels better soon PP.

Wendz, Glad to hear Poppy is starting to go to bed a little earlier. I've been there watching TV at 1am waiting for LO to decide it's bedtime!

Delain I would be stopping the children from seeing MIL. She sounds evil and spiteful and a bad influence.

Beccles thanks I was pleased with the teeth, but my sis got hers done too and only got 3 shades whiter. She wasn't as pleased, so I suppose it depends on your teeth. She said no more red wine BOO!

Good luck with the BF training Rach. My SIL has just announced she is pregnant with her 4th. She FF the other 3, I think mainly because she has had no experience of BF. None of her friends or family BF. She won't say the word breast in front of her children and when she asks me about BF she mouths the word breast. She seemed to be surprised with my experience of BF. She said she thought BF babies were nearly constantly feeding, whereas my LO fed every 4 hours from she came home from hospital. She also didn't know that BF babies aren't supposed to get colic or reflux (I'm sure it may happen to an unlucky few). I also never winded my LO after a BF and she never had any problems with wind. I'm hoping she'll give BF a try with this one, but DH says she won't, as it will be like she is admitting she should have tried with the other 3.

My LO had a great night last night! She went down at 8pm and slept until 6am, when she wanted in beside me. I lifted her in and she slept for an hour, had a BF and went back to sleep until 9am. Heaven!

Good luck at the docs Pigpen and Squeak :D hopefully this means more sleep for you both.

I have my scan today :j I did tell the teachers today that I have a 12 week scan in case we're not done on time and OH has to collect the girls and the look on both their faces was pretty priceless :rotfl: I have refrained from telling people in case someone decides they think I'm taking too much on with all the bus travel and calls SS on me or tries to persuade me to change the girls' school. I know SS are happy with my parenting and our set up at home, but I could do without the greif IYSWIM :(

I know KH/Ex MIL are going to pull a stunt like that and I'd rather delay it! At least I've gone through the feeling crappy stage and not had loads of school lateness like last time as I've been a lot less sick and there hasn't been any problems (except for twin1 wetting which I am sure is down to the stress of seeing her Dad and being asked all these questions and being deliberately upset and confused by what he is saying), the whole thing is just so stressful.

Oh and the new bus timetable is out. there will be a bus at the school at 7.45, leaving here at 7.30, or a bus that gets there at 8.56 (school starts at 8.40) looks like we will be walking then! The drivers are telling everyone to ring and complain, but then they all told the management not to take our bus out because it's a really busy bus and the ones they've put in are bad for schoolkids and people starting work at 9, and no one listened to them.

The service that is being run as the schools bus is the 7.45 one. Apparently standing in the dark for an hour on icy december mornings is the in thing for school kids now  I'm not paying over £140 per month for that!

Excuse the massive me me me rant :o

Becles I hope you and Charlotte have a good day. I like baking with LO's her age, except I don't eat it because they are always picking their noses when they think you arent looking *shudder*

Yay for sleepy babies too :j

delain... complain about the useful bus being taken out. And speak to the school about it.. they could maybe complain too.. they might also be fine about the girls getting there a few minutes after everyone has gone in rather than you setting off before I'm even out of bed!!!! most exciting about the scan :D.... I'm sure everything will be perfect :D
