Yeah Giz!!! And your LO has an excellent birth date!!;)0

You might be surprised. With my LO its sudden loud noises that disturb her rather than say loud music. She slept thru a pretty rowdy party for cinco de mayo on holiday. We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0

so will need to have some formula and think about what food she will be having. It's a bit of extra work traveling abroad with a baby, but it's for a family wedding so we have to go.
We took powdered formula and a travel kettle and just made bottles up as and when, using bottled water.
I only took a few jars for convenience when travelling and out and about. The rest of the time they just ate the local food, and they managed fine.Only problem with that is the bus is leaving the hotel to return to the apartments at 2am. Our LO will be 10 months old. Should we just hire a car and take her home earlier? I can't see her being able to sleep during a wedding party.
You'll be surprised! Mine have slept all over in noisy places and they don't seem to mind. Got a fantastic photo of Josh somewhere. He went to a wedding when he was about 21 months, ran about like a lunatic then crashed out on some chairs along the side of the dance floor. He's dripping with sweat and sound asleep with people dancing right in front of him :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -
I have a similar pic of DD3 Becles... she was like a demented flea on the dance floor and collapsed in a sweaty heap about 11pm.. and woke up at 10am after we carried her home, put her in her pj's and in bed and washed her face!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

James had his ECG today and it all looks ok to the technician, but the consultant will have a look and send the results to my doctor. I have to ring them next week. His chest x-ray was fine though and no further tests or treatment is needed.
Hope everyone is having a good day xxHere I go again on my own....0 -

Sounds good Becles!
I know I'm forever asking questions, but this is my first baby, so bear with me! I'm wondering if my LO is getting the correct amount of solid food as the last 2 days she has been ravenous. She is 6 months old. She is not too interested in food in the mornings. She gets a BF at 7am and a hour later a yoghurt. At about 11am she has a BF. At 1pm she has a lunch of mashed veg/veg & pasta in a little freezer pot that is about the size of a standard yoghurt pot. At 4pm she has a BF and at 5pm she has a dinner of veg and meat/chicken/fish in the same size freezer pot. At 7pm she has supper of either weetabix or Ready Brek made with 4 fl oz of formula in the same size pot. at 8pm she has a BF and bed. She wakes once for a BF during the night (usually 3am).
I think the BF would be about 5 fl oz as that is exactly what I express every time and during the day her BF may be shorter than evenings.
For the last 2 days she has been shouting with her mouth open after every spoonfeed wanting more and at her supper time she has cried between spoonfulls if it isn't coming quick enough (if I am blowing on it.) And last night she woke for 2 night feeds. I tried to settle her without feeding, but when I gave in and started to feed her she lunged at me and fed frantically.
It seems like a lot of food for a baby to me, but she seems to want more.0 -
Offer her dessert after lunch and/or dinner.. see if it helps.. she may well still be hungry.. mine has hollow legs and eats almost constantly from 4pm-7:30pm as well as 2 weetabix, a slice of toast and a yohurt for breakfast!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

What do you give for dessert? I have given her pieces of apple, but they are sucked and get slippy and end up on the floor in seconds.0
