    Morning

Quiet on here. Too many people missing and not posting anymore :(

Worrying period with work at the moment. Got nothing to do today, tomorrow or Thursday.

Going to tidy up my desk and declutter in here. Got masses of paperwork and my filing cabinet is almost full. Going to get file the previous tax years stuff away.

Have a good day all xx
Here I go again on my own....

    Morning Becles :)

I hope your work stuff sorts itself out, :j for decluttering and for me time!

    :j for rolly Squeak too.

I got some done last night, nowhere near as much as I'd wanted but enough that I didn't feel guilty. And Husband is still sleeping after about 12 hours, wonderful because he's not slept much the last few nights.

  • Morning. Day off for me today, thank heavens. Yesterday was a very stressful day at work- I am glad they're not all like that! I need to take Henry for his jabs this morning as we missed them last week as he had a cold. Then I mostly plan to spend the day cooking some healthy meals for the freezer.

I can't believe Izzy is 2 next week Ladybird! How exciting!

Hope work picks up for you, Becles.

I also hope that everyone who has been under the weather feels better today.

It's the PCV one, and maybe the MMR too if they'll do them both as he missed out on two lots as had a cold. I hope William gets on okay.

I just skim the FB groups and post on anything relevant.

Did mention my Mum has joined FB and keeps tagging old photos of me *rolls eyes*?

  • Good morning all, happy new year!
    :hello:
I thought I'd delurk and join you on this thread.
Was hoping you lovely people over here could let me know if you think this is norm:
Tigger is 9 wks now, colick-y and is on FF on comfort milk. He's a big boy and weighed 12lbs 15oz last Weds from a 6lb 15oz birth weight.
Is this considered overweight on on the way to if he carries on like this? DH seems to think so and even the HV has started to suggest that we start giving water between feeds in case he is just a 'sucky baby' after weeks of telling us to feed on demand. He can easily polish off between 6-7oz each feed ?

:rotfl: my mother started doing that, I just untag as quickly as I can.

Hope Henry and William's jabs go well and without much aftereffect.

Hello Jade :) I'm not sure about Tigger's weight, I remember Miss M gaining about half a pound or more a week at that stage but I think they all find their levels and then it gets a bit more regular. Have you tried plotting his weight on one of the weight charts?

jade how often is he feeding 6-7oz? Bobs is 8 weeks and feds every 3 hours tbh I don't worry so long as they are putting on weight, my older 2 were really chunky but they thin out as soon as they get to toddler stage and are very mobile so long as you don't feed them chips all the time and take them to the park etc then having a hungry baby is fine. Also Bobs is very sucky at the moment, he has a dummy for comfort. I have given bobby some cooled boiled water but I have to be careful with that cos he loves it and would drain a whole bottle probably - I thought you should only give 1-2 oz of water so they don't fill up too much on it.

Gonna ring the docs in a bit, I have my postnatal check up booked for friday but they had no appointments for bobs vaccinations with the nurse and said they would get the nurse to ring and let me know when she could fit him in but I've heard nothing and it is overdue now.
  • Hi Merfe - About 3-4 hours between feeds. He didn't take to the dummy we offered either. Tigger has his Jabs week after next I think, not looking forward to that. I heard they get horrible sick and cranky.. is it true you think?
Hi Sugarspun - Think he's just below the 90th centile but jumped up 2-3 of those centile lines so fast hence worried DH.
