Evening all, not been around much lately due to the easter holidays and having 3 kids to entertain!
DD is now crawlingbut goodness me, I need eyes everywhere.
I am going to try and read back while I have time.
What age is your LO? My LO has been threatening to crawl from the HV 16 week visit. The HV nearly jumped out of her chair because she thought the baby was about to start crawling. That was 6 weeks ago and still trying!0 -
Hi everyone :hello:
It's been quiet :eek:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Hi Delain. Just thinking that. Has everyone fallen out? First time mums like me need you to answer our stupid questions!
Like this one. Why do dummies have ages on them? We bought 8 of the same dummies when our LO was born and I was looking at dummies to replace them and the ones she has now are 0-3 months. I can't see why I can't get her 0-3 mth dummies?
Oh and just to warn everyone that I don't want a lecture on why not to use dummies. Not interested.0 -
I think they have bigger teats to fit their mouth as it grows, we used a dummy when she was little but she gave it up herself about 5 months. I only object to them when you see 14 year olds still having them!!!0
-
hiya, yeah the teats on dummys get bigger as the age goes up- thinks its cos theyre easier to keep in their mouth!
some babies prefer the smaller ones though- just use whichever your baby wants!
my 8 month old getting ready for crawling now i think, just got his first 2 teeth.:j0 -
Thanks everyone. She only has a dummy to sleep and I would like to get rid of it altogether before she is 2. She has been waking up a lot during the night when the dummy has fallen out, so maybe a bigger one is a good idea.0

We joke about Duck taping the dummy in all the time. If only!0

the plastic bit is bigger too so its harder for them to fit the whole thing in their mouth. which K loives to try doing'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0
