Thanks Pigpen! Do you know if it's ok to use this kind of chair with a 9 week old? I think the 5 day bit you're referring to is where it says delivered in 5 days?
The only other info on there is just saying pretty much what you say - that it can be adjusted to different positions...0 -
Charlotte had a similar chair and from what I remember, she was in it from about two months old.
I found it handy as I could pop her in it and move her around with me and give her a running commentary on whatever I was doing. It also had a bar with rattles and stuff on for her to play with.
Boot camp was tough this evening. The trainer has got some new medicine balls and I was running while carrying a 7kg weight above my head. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Of course.. it is from birth.. look on the mothercare site there are dozens exactly the same but in different designs.. they are usually suitable until they can sit unaided. I've just put squeaks away for the baby.

Excellent! I'll get it out, pop him in it and see if he likes it!
I did look on the mothercare website, but new-mum-brain+ not knowing what it is in English, I couldn't find it:o:o

Quiet on here! How is everyone?
Had a quiet day here. Had to pop out and do a quick audit for work at lunchtime, but then just pottered on at home for the rest of the day.
Watched the wedding this morning and thought Kate looked stunning and really liked her dress. Liked Pippa's and the flower girls dresses as well
Two things have really made me laugh today. Firstly this thread about an unfortunate glitter accident. Read to the end as it's hilarious :rotfl:

and secondly, this is my favourite bit of the wedding coverage :rotfl:

We have a second tooth.. and we only had to be up 4 times in the night..and our ears were fine
4 days left of the hellidays.. Gosh how I miss school!!!
Shoe shop tomorrow for shoe check and parting with wads of cash as usual.
I need a day off!!! 2 days in almost 3 weeks is a killer... I am dreading the summer hellidays.. esp with the likelihood I'll be unable to walk with SPD.. I think I may just hide in the shed!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning
Hope you manage to get some rest pigpen. Can the bigger ones look after the little ones to help out in the summer hols? If I'm busy, Josh watches Charlotte as one of his jobs to earn his football subs, or they watch her for extra xbox time etc.
Up early and off to boot camp this morning. Looks like another lovely sunny day out there.
Have a good day all xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
Hi everyone.
The weather is great here again. That's about 2 weeks straight of amazing weather for us!
We just have the one baby and today are babysitting my DH's brother's 3 children. They are 2, 6 and 7. The 2 year old is mid potty training and a handful at the best of times (and very jealous of our LO). The other 2 are angels. Any advice?0 -

I don't ever ask the older ones to watch the younger ones.. unless I desperately need a tesco run or a quick nip to shops or vets/docs etc... they aren't their responsibility they are mine and I would hate them to think when thy are adults that they raised each other.. like I do.. I used to get my sisters up ready and out to school after doing breakfast and their packed lunches, so I was late! I'd usually collect then from school meaning I had to leave early.. I'd then do dinner, shower thm and put them to bed.. then do the vacuuming, pot washing and usually bung some washing in.. I swore I'd never do that to my lot.
Is it gross Squeak is munching on last night sausage? it must taste ok she is yumming and nomming!
School shoe check today.. 4 to take and OH won't let the baby stay with him so she'll come too..
CL.. OTT on praise for using the loo.. other than that don't let the 2 year old hog the attention at the expense of the baby!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
That's a bit harsh
My children don't raise each other and I wouldn't expect them to be left alone to care for each other. They just play with Charlotte when I need to do other things.
We're a family and everyone is responsible for helping out and making sure all the jobs get done. The boys don't mind playing with Charlotte when I need to do certain jobs. Here I go again on my own....0
