    afternoon

does anyone know if I stopped a couple of cheque I wrote for the passport agency will they just refuse the applications. I sent off the forms at the end of last week but its unlikely we'll need the passports now and I could do without wasting the money? I want it to help when I'm on unpaid leave. We were going to ireland for my cousins wedding but its ending up such an expensive trip and my mum was going to pay the accommodation and has decided she doesn't want to go anymore. I had to renew OH passport and get Bobs one and now we'll never use them, mine and DD run out at the end of the year and I'm not renewing them. I got so close to booking the ferry too when the car passed its MOT so glad I waited.

Sorry MERFE I have no idea.

LL decluttering always feels good :D

I was right about the doctors, they left me antibiotics for a UTI to pick up to see if that makes the funny feelings go away. Not sure it will but we'll see :)

pookie my daughter was like that - they just learn when they are ready. Its better to refer them and them not need it in the end because the waiting list is quite bad.

I've decided the £100 doesn't matter because I'm winning the euromillions tonight - now off to check rightmove for million pound dream houses whilst OH does the school run.

thanks, fingers crossed x after searching most afternoon (DD was quite keen and asked if I could buy a few of the houses) I've decided I don't really like any of them and would probably just buy this house and do it up how we would like it - we would have loads of change leftover cos this ones only about £150000. It's nice to dream once in a while.

I told my mum we are not going to ireland at all and she suggested we went camping in france instead - I just said if I could afford that I'd go to ireland. She is strange, I'm quite annoyed with her really saying she would pay the accommodation, if she hadn't we wouldn't have booked tickets to visit my dad.

Delain hope you're feeling better soon x

    Thank you!

Argh I have caught DD's conjunctivitis :( I was being so careful as well. My hands are sore and cracked because of how much I wash my hands :(

I've never had it before. Looked on the NHS website and it suggests eye drops from over the counter. Anyone else had it? Should I let it run it's course? Or should I try the eye drops asap?

DD was given antibiotic eye drops, but they are impossible to give to her. She just starts screaming and her eyes clamp shut. Tried after a feed when she was all relaxed too. Aha...just googled. A tip is to drop into the corner of the eye when it's shut then when she opens it the drop will fall in the eye apparently.

Having more luck with the Daktarin today - I think she wanted to show me up in front of my mum. I was telling mum how she spits it out and vomits and all sorts, then today mum was here while I gave it to her and she was a little angel!

I would have the eye drops.

I caught conjunctivitis in Turkey last year towards the end of our holiday. I bought some drops from the chemist out there, but they were not very good. By the time we left, I was in agony with really itchy eyes and they were all red and I looked like I'd had a really good cry :o

There was a Boots in the arrivals hall, so I bought some chloramphenicol drops and that cleared it up within a couple of days. It works really well.
Here I go again on my own....
