I have the Chicco Polly highchair...I love it, it is so comfortable for baby. Although can be a bit annoying to clean the gunk out of the nooks and cranny's, not too bad though xx

We bought the chicco polly as well :D

I wipe it over with the antibacterial wipes after Squeak's finished [STRIKE] throwing things about [/STRIKE] eating and it hasn't been too bad.

Thanks for calling e brave, I'm not though! I don't get in there and scrub, I wrap a cloth round OH's litterpicker and do it from the relative safety of outside the door :o

I don't mind spiders. I normally either just leave them, or if they are in a place where others might notice and squash them, then I pick them up and move them somewhere safe.

We just had a booster seat on a dining chair rather than a high chair. I liked it as I felt they were more at the table with us, rather than to one side in a high chair if that makes sense.

    My twins had those.

I threw them out in the end because they got loads of peas stuck in and I couldn't get them out :o I know I should have done it straight away before they turned into gun pellets, but I was enjoying not having to jump up and clean to order.

I was 20/21 at the time and just escaped from a very very controlling DV relationship with the older children's obsessively clean dad, so stands to reason my flat was messy, it was my mess, I wanted it and it was good :p

I bought a dishwasher on ebay, is £300 in currys. Got an ex display one for £160 :money: Now I just need to get the LL to come fix the sinking floor, then can have it put in and new lino, cos I ripped the old one moving the 6ft (full!) fridge freezer to paint the walls last year on my own on the spur of the moment. At ten o clock at night :p Think I need my head examining :rotfl:

My OH is a star and catches them with a pint glass and chucks them outside...although I'm sure sometimes it's the same spider that comes back in. Scarily for one spider a pint glass wasn't big enough - had to get a bowl

Oh I wanted a booster seat on the dining chair for the same reason you say...OH wants a high chair. Are there any cons for booster seats (except for peas getting stuck?)

Delain - bargain of a dishwasher :) :money:

Are babies like pets? Due to go to docs at 9 and it seems DDs eye is normal again! It was green snotty _all_ day yesterday. Just typical and just the sort of thing my rabbit does!

Yep - that sounds perfectly normal :D

Chaos here this morning with James winding Charlotte up to make her have a tantrum. I sometimes wonder who is the three year old?!

She's played nice and quiet since he left for school. She left a toy CD player on the floor and went to the loo, and while she was away, Bob managed to turn the song on :rotfl:

  • Gizmodo do you know Mothercare do a price promise, so if what you want is cheaper somewhere else they will match it. I just printed off the price from some random website and saved £150 on the pram! :j

No I didn't. Thanks for that.

//eta - looks like it's just for online :( It's annoying that the mothercare giftcards are for instore only.

Giz, William had very nasty sticky eyes for at least 8 weeks, my HV suggested breast milk, and although it was a bit hit and miss with my aim, William never minded it and it worked a lot quicker than the cream the doc gave us. Clean cotton wool, cool boiled water and some breast milk will do the trick.

William has got a cold, his first (4mths) he is being so good about it, really snotty and it is making him cough throughout the night, but the doc yesterday checked his chest and all is clear. Calpol at night and more sleepy during the day, but a very happy chap for most of the day. We are heading out for a walk with a friend and their little one today, so some fresh air and sunshine should help kick the cold into touch :) ( it must be nearly gone as it was bright green two days ago and today it is all clear :) )

We have been given a booster seat so will start using that as soon as we can get to the table! Oh and we will be getting rid of current table as it is tooo bulky. I am on a major declutter, e-bay doing ok but the charity shop is doing a lot better. Freecycle has done quite well as well so all feeling good and the house will start to be a lot more conducive to having a little one crawling and then running around :)

Sun is out i hope everyone has a good day :)

    Hello!

We're back from our little holiday

Highchairs - love our IKEA Antilop and can't beat the £14 price tag. It cleans up well and never had any complaints! Lightweight, too.

Car seats - We had a Britax Eclipse group 1, which was NICE and I really liked it. My DH was in a car accident a few weeks ago and so we replaced it with a Britax Prince, which I do not like nearly as much. So I highly recommend the Eclipse over the Price. It just sat nicer in the car and the recline feature was much better. Hard to pinpoint why I like it better, it's just an overall impression.

Hope everyone had a good week. :D

Pookie - I saw your bit about speech therapy. What do you mean by not talking? Finn's only 1 month younger than Matthew, but I wouldn't describe him as "talking" - just lots of noises and 3-4 real words that aren't usually said for the 'right' thing IYSWIM.
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!
