She has started to be very cranky during the day (for the last couple of days) and today fed every 2 hours. Do you think I should start to introduce a spoon feed? I have AK book, so know what to give her, but the 6 month advice is putting me off. Or do you think she could be teething? She is drooling a lot, but no flushed cheeks and is sleeping well.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Hi Rach :hello: Lovely to see you :j
ETA Yay Smartie :j I was beginning to think you had abondoned MSE for FB
Rach how is your LO? And Smartie how's Daisy?
CL I agree. The list of things that make babies grumpy is endless.
DD1 is coming out with all sorts of things about how Daddy is going to punch (my OH) in the face because he told her off  and all this at 'supervised' contact
I think it's bothering her because she keeps telling me about it and she is being a nightmare, especially just after the visitsas is one of the twins
Squeak has been lovely though, we've been playing lots of tickly games and she's been making loads of use out of her new giggleMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Thanks. What I really wanted to know was what people thought about introducing spoonfeeds at 16 weeks?0

Oh sorry.
It's not something I would do, but then I've never had a very hungry baby, and it's everyone's individual decision.
It's more likely to be teething than hunger ime, Squeak likes the water filled teethers that go in the freezer, and just about anything she can chew.
Oh and the boots own teething gel is good stuff :money:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Thanks Delain. I might hold off a bit. My HV is coming tomorrow and I'll have a chat to her. The last time she called was when LO was 7 weeks old.0

Daisy had some rice at 16 weeks. There was no way we could of made it through to 6 months (now) without food. She loves her food!!;)
And I didn't say we have lots of teeth poking through. Not causing her much bother luckily... not sure if its the teething necklace helping or not??BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
I hadn't thought of the fact that there might be geographical variation in prevalence of bugs.
I also wonder how they count them if they appear to be continuous.
I count DS2's colds as the periods when he has a high temperature and the perma-cough sounds 'wet'. But that can happen every two weeks from October to April  But yeah, you can see a pattern of just a cough - cold - cold going away - just a cough - cold.
Aged 2-3years he had 12 chest infections requiring antibiotics in a year. He was on one end of a scale. DS1 rarely had a cold or cough.0
