Triker I love your post above. xx

Ok, so whose smart idea was the cleaning of the pan cupboard???? Not that I mind really, but I was like a wee set of dominos. Once that part of the cupboard was cleaned (1950's units, so they all run into one another) I had to go on to the next part..... then the next part..... then the next part.....:rotfl: Now got happy cupboards, and am thinking about 50s style lining paper.... I wonder why!!!

That would be my idea... :D It is just to scare newcomers.. lol.. or at least demand they get rid of some rubbish so we do usually start the new year hard.

I've just filled a wheelie bin from the girls room alone just with packaging from christmas stuff.. it looks like they got next to nothing now.. which was the idea.. consumable, edible and BIG boxes so it condenses to nothingness and we don't have such a full house! I'm so good!! lol

Best go sort baby for bed, little imp has been awake ALL day and is trying not to go to sleep in her jumperoo... boob and bed I think. Pinks in bed... and about to get yelled at for making noise.. we DO NOT have this ehaviour in MY house! They have been informed of this already!

Oh I don't want to go back to work tomorrow...

I think a lot of people will agree with you!

DD has already declared she's phoning in sick tomorrow - quite rightly too I think - with a fever of 102 this afternoon and several episodes of "I can't do that right now so I'll just lie down and rest a bit" over the simplest of things - she even stayed in the shower twice as long as normal because she just didn't have the energy to get out of it....

She says, however, it's not as bad as the swine flu we all had last year (sorry - year before last! - August 2009 anyway!) so there's hope...

.....<<hugging you>> Is it a closeness thing? Do write it down just for you. It's the culmination of things that counts, not the individual problems.
Not surprised re work, not if you have these things to work out. xx

Most Christmas and Birthday presents now have homes....one or 2 left but TBH don't think DD will play with them, but we will see. Luckily DD had a lot of money for both so we will go shopping on the weekend to kit out the dolls house.....

WM just finished so off to put the last load in.........xx

    How pathetic is this...

if I were to end it I would have no idea how to go about it...

Yes, well, hmmmm. The rest of the family (who already think I'm a cleaning nutcase) have only had their suspicions confirmed. :rotfl:DH keeps saying I'm doing it all as a distraction activity because I've stopped smoking! (what does he know... I'm avoiding fluffy mule bombs :D)

Soappie Hope DD feels better soon. She's doing the right thing avoiding spreading germs etc. and it will do her good in the long run.

Toots <<hugs>> though you're probably smothered with 'em! Good that your minister came over. Pastoral care is such a rare thing these days sometimes. xx

    Jenny Jewell :T:T:T Well done!!!
Boddie Just wanted to say I was thinking of you over the season. We don't know each other well, but I hope you don't mind me saying that I hope you are ok hon.

FLU Has anyone got any good and helpful suggestions/experience re helping this. I'm sorry, I know we're not supposed to give med advice on MSE, but being ill is a real, irrational phobia of mine. (I mean I really really can't just settle down and be ill without having a panic attack.) Every time I have flu/any other illness I try to work through it (cos I work at home) even though I know it will end badly, and it generally does. Hope no one minds me asking. Piggers, do delete if necessary. xx
