Didn't do too well this week mainly down to Dh finding out mon morning that he was no longer on night shift but on days! Totally messed my plans up for the week of getting the jobs done when kids were in bed. Instead trying to squeeze it into the busy daytime with the home schooling bit of a nightmare.
Little fed up with in laws insisting on coming to see the kids every sunday, is it just me that gets lumbered with in laws that can't take a hint? They always want to know what we're doing if we say we're busy, if they know we are home they don't see why they can't come round anyway grr.

Might be nice to chill out in my pjs on a sunday instead of worrying about having visitors every week. Only see my own parents once a month at most and they live just as close. They seem to think just because they have nothing to do and it suits them they can ring up with only 10mins notice sometimes to inform us of a visit and then stay for 2hours of my day!

Ok rant over lol feel better now although i could start about the kids and the endless pit of toys that get pulled out every day! but i wont

Now there's two threads running, so that'll confuse me!

Have finished the week (well the Flying Week anyway) by

Bringing my calendar and PDA up to date with each other and throwing the 2007 calendar in the kitchen away (((eeeeeeeeekkkkkkkk)))

Cleaning out the freezer bags and box I used at Christmas

Walking round the house making sure my basic levels (very very very basic) of tidiness are in place, sandwiches made for tomorrow and all the drying from today ironed.

Plants watered but failed to polish the leaves. :rotfl:

Many many thanks to everyone for their lovely welcomes this week.

Off to consider the noooooo list.

Just popped in to say hello. I have lost the will to do any flying without water. DH has been brill and has hoovered the whole house. I have been spending the odd day at DDs where I could do washing and also have a bath.

We now definitely know the water problem is on our land so water company will not do anything and the ground is still frozen like a rock so can't dig it up. 16 years, and no problems like this. We aren't the only ones around here without water. At least we are lucky enough to have good neighbours to help us out.

I just feel like a moaner, last Winter I was snowed in and now this. I'll go away again until I can say something positive :D
