love hugs and spoons to everyone that need em!
ive been on an online shopping spree and have ordered a few bits so need to get my house list cleaned as ive got a polti steam cleaner on its way so need to have a tidy and clean house so i can start steam cleaning everything. Looking forward to it as ive been wanting one for ages since i hate mopping my floors and this seems to do so much as its a carpet cleaner, a mop, a steam cleaner, a window cleaner, a wallpaper striper in one so it has been carefully researched so ive just gone for it rather than debating even more and putting it off again.
also bought a back support form qvc last night so hopefully thats going to help with the back pain so i can wean myself off tablets as im getting fed up of rattling now, the reviews online for it seem to be promising, also debating a pilates machine but think OH would have a fit and im not sure i want to push him that far just yet as i would need to dip into the savings account to buy that, which i know he wouldnt be happy about. he isnt going to be happy about the polti either to be honest but i dont care :rotfl:

I've been busy. Hadn't realised how much of a pit the house had become until I started tidying up  disgusting is the appropriate word methinks
So, fling! fling! fling! in all the rooms upstairs, changed mine and littleys bedding as they'd been on since last year
I'm such a minger! brought down an entire sinks worth of dishes from both the kids rooms, removed rubbish from bathroom that was lying all over and put another wash on. Good grief I can't believe it had become so bad.
Onwards and upwards, tally-hoooooooooooo *grabs another bin bag*0 -

All shopping away. Scrubbed cat litter tray. being used a lot cos of the cold weather!
Changed our bed. Put away the mound of washing, and am now cooking a roast dinner in the hope that we can watch the footy this afternoon.
The only thing that I MUST do is some ironing.
Anything else is a bonus :-)Yesterday is history

Hmmm - may have to take a trip to the emergency doctor drop in down the road with DD. Her neck has suddenly started swelling up on one side and her tongue's tingling....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

PIGPEN - Glad that you know what you want from the "mediation". Is is joint mortgage? I ask because you may be better off trying to work out if you can buy him out/get re-mortgage in your name in the near future. If its joint then you are financially linked and any c*ck-ups from him from now on in will still affect you and your credit rating for either eternity or until the financial link ends; whichever comes first. If there is equity in it, then luckily with the proposed price drops next year, that will be devalued making your mortgage slightly lower and making it less likely you have to give him anything anyway (no equity = no cash for him as there is nothing to give!).
I don't even intend to do mediation; we have no mortgage/assets etc. He doesn't see the kids, doesn't make contact with them at all, he is mentally unstable and doesn't even know what day it is sometimes. I am hoping that he is so far down ATM he just signs/agrees and we can get on with things. Sounds mean but I have had so long dealing with him it just needs to stop.
As OH is also out of work (made redundant just under 2 years ago and there is NOTHING here that isn't filled by someone they can pay peanuts to) so we cannot take on the mortgage.. which is ridiculous because I am paying it anyway and KH was made redundant last October so couldn't take on the mortgage anyway but he wants to be rid of this mortgage so when he does find a job he can get a new house.. he is currently renting. In addition I am paying the bank loan (£261 pcm) which has another 5 years to run. While I do see his point that for the same money as he is paying now he could have a mortgage, that isn't actually my problem. We are applying to have the house transferred to my name (his idea) so he cannot have any claim on equity plus he won't just be able to walk in whenever he wants.. to all intents the house will be mine it will only be the mortgage in joint names which neither of us can do anything about. As part of the settlement he suggested the house be put into my name and he doesn't pay maintenance for 2 years.. but he doesn't pay any anyway so it won't make any difference to us financially. There are people who have several mortgages so I don't see the issue TBH, I am sure there will be someone out there who would give him a mortgage given he has no legal claim on this house.. the only time it would be an issue is if I didn't pay the mortgage in which case he would be liable for any negative equity should the house be repossessed and sold.. given that the house is currently valued at £40k more than we paid for it I can't see that being an issue.toottifrootti wrote: »pigpen calming and determined vibes for you this week - you have put up with enough garbage from ex - no more!
See, now I was all determined last night and I am starting to crumble already.. this is insane.. if it was someone else I was acting on behalf of he'd have been taken to the cleaners, chewed up and the bits spat out.. but doing it for myself I am such a pansy!!!
And today....
DD4 decluttered to a party until 2pm
Baby snoozing
I'm off to forage and have a half hour whizz through the kitchen

Hiya!
I did 5 hours of paperwork yesterday..............and only accomplished half of what needs doing. Never mind.
Today I have hoovered all of downstairs, mopped the floors and done some washing. Oh and cleaned the dishes - they seem to multiply when my back is turned!
I am now GOING to take a couple of hours off and do some cross stitch....................first time in months! If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome!0
