*sneaks back in before going to bed since she's been MIA since Tuesday*

Haven't caught up with the thread :o I've been re-acquainting myself with household files from the past which showed how organised I used to be. :o I'm sick of existing in this house the way it is so I've been taking notes, printing things out and generally trying to ground myself again from these files. Feel much more inclined to get stuck in properly again as I've had a major CBA feeling for a couple of days.

Wednesday I went the dentists and had a filling in one of my wisdom teeth  My face was so sore and swollen because of her having to pull it open to get access I didn't manage much of anything 'cause everything hurt. By Thursday morning it was a bit better but swollen and some things still hurt :( I did go to the interview and I start Wednesday :D Can't wait. Have a meeting with my lone parent advisor to see how this effects me on Monday morning (9am, but apparently if I'm a little late thats fine - I plan on getting the bus there so I can get it over and done with ;):rotfl:) and then I'm hoping to do a little bargain hunting ;)

After the interview I went into town (literally 2 min if that walk :rotfl:) and managed to get
    • DD some stocking fillers for next year from H@wkins (£7 should be about £20+ I think :D)
    • DDs birthday pressie (its not until April ;)) £9 in a toy shop, but was the cheapest I've seen it and thanks to an iphone app I know it was cheaper than online :D
    • a Top Ge@r calender for my brother (which my mum wasn't able to get hold of in time for Xmas despite looking, but I spotted 1 on sale which in town),
    • a mug to start DDs "Thank you" gift for her teacher (male so not exactly easy to buy for) for £2.50 down from £5
    • a new Sl@zenger swimming costume for DD (£5 down from £17.99).
    • I also resisted buying stuff in L@kel@nd despite having a good look in the sale stuff :D:money:
So it was a good day in all :D

Friday was lost between a HHI & work in the afternoon. It was toy afternoon though so the noise and chaos :mad::eek::( I didn't have the energy to do anything when I got home except wash up, make tea & collapse infront of the TV & laptop.

So since I spent most of today again infront of the laptop, I've decided to go all out when I get up and attempt to do the weeks list in a day  It shouldn't be that bad actually, the place is reasonably tidy, just laundry drying in the livingroom and some dishes by the sink, its just the cleaning that needs to be done. I used to be able to do it (including tidying up) when DD was a toddler, I lived in a bigger house and I had ex-OH stuff to deal with as well so I can do it tomorrow in the 4 or so hours DD is out ...or collapse trying :rotfl::rotfl:So here we go:

Oh, can I also point out, my house is reasonably uncluttered (I like to have regular clear outs) and its only a two up,two down terrace house. You couldn't swing a cat in our kitchen or bathrooms ;) Now I should really head for bed otherwise all I'll be doing tomorrow is sleeping. :o:rotfl:

Jenny - we can't give medical advice on here, so if you're worried, a call to NHS direct might be a good idea. AF can be a little tempermental at times (I've had a lot of issues since around September, mostly caused by stress combined with international travel, which always upsets her!). Tampons can cause TSS, so if you have a towel or mooncup to use as an alternative it might be a good idea while you're feeling strange. A call to NHS direct will probably clarify things.

And I wouldn't waste my time or the call time ringing them.. Do a pg test as you are unsure of the symptoms and this has crossed your mind so is a possibility.. and if it isn't that it is something else and you can go see a proper doctor next week.. if you die before then.. don't go to the doctor you need an undertaker..

That isn't medical advice.. it is common sense.. and what you know already.

Oh, though tampons shouldn't be left 7 hours, it says so on the leaflet in the box.. that allows bacteria to grow and it can get nasty. If pg is a possibility pads are recommended.. because of the infection risk.

I have knitted a whole sleeve and a bit of the second one.. the wool is lovely to knit with the the pattern was a pig to start with.. infernal thing!

Decluttering myself off to bed with a bag of the grumps and I have no idea where it is from.. I am feeling all floopy and deflumped.. I think it may be related to the mediation next Thursday.. I am going to get difficult.. I have 3 things I intend saying.. 1st, I AM leaving at 11:30 wherever we are at; 2nd, I am not being held to ransom over a date/year/childs age that I will sell the house.. he can go to hell... it is my home, I am paying for it and therefore I shall stay here until Tiddles is 19 if I want! If he wants a mortgage with his woman they can get it in her name.. oh no.. she is on incapability so can't get one either.. oh well, ain't my problem.. and 3rd, I refuse to discuss contact arrangements for the children further he obviously isn't interested in seeing the older children anyway, I know it, they know it and he knows it so I am not wasting my breath!

Sorry if ex oh can afford a mortgage then he can afford to pay maintenance....even if you don't see any of it he could pay something back into the system that helps support his children.

Don't get anxious, I know you can hold your own....and good luck. x

Its frosty outside, but the sun is finally shining again. Trying to decide what to do... it should be a lovely day for a walk if I can find anyone to go with me. If I can't, it'll be either a trip to the bottle bank, or I might go to the shop for some yogurt. Then a run later.

Flying - I intend to clear up after last night's meal, pack up the decs and sort the shoes so my dad can get into the spare room. Other than that, I'll focus on stuff that has deadlines, as the house is in a manageable state so I need to stop life from getting out of control :). Mind you, like nicki I'm pretty sure that if I put my mind to it I could do the whole house in less than a day, as most of the clutter is gone and its just a question of getting on with it!

PIGPEN - Glad that you know what you want from the "mediation". Is is joint mortgage? I ask because you may be better off trying to work out if you can buy him out/get re-mortgage in your name in the near future. If its joint then you are financially linked and any c*ck-ups from him from now on in will still affect you and your credit rating for either eternity or until the financial link ends; whichever comes first. If there is equity in it, then luckily with the proposed price drops next year, that will be devalued making your mortgage slightly lower and making it less likely you have to give him anything anyway (no equity = no cash for him as there is nothing to give!).

I don't even intend to do mediation; we have no mortgage/assets etc. He doesn't see the kids, doesn't make contact with them at all, he is mentally unstable and doesn't even know what day it is sometimes. I am hoping that he is so far down ATM he just signs/agrees and we can get on with things. Sounds mean but I have had so long dealing with him it just needs to stop.

    Anyway: TODAY -
    • Sainsbury trip (forgot to do online so must go to the store)
    • WM/TD/DW on and done.
    • Hoover/wash floors this evening (will do when kids in bed as easier)
    • Add on Freegle again for packing boxes. My areas site is naff. Plenty of people to take stuff but no-one wants to let me have anything!!
    • Ebay listings - as its free today I have a few more things after emptying the loft yesterday.
And just like to let you know, my little brother worked his butt off yesterday. The stud wall was removed, disposed of (in garden ready for dumping) and he even cleaned up (!). Then he took down the climbing/swing/slide frame in the garden, emptied the loft and filled in all the holes after taking out the wall. In about 4hrs! And all in return for a Sweet Chilli Chicken sandwich and copious amounts of tea! :T I was shocked; because I'm not used to it - that would have taken my EX a year to do (If I were lucky).

Anyway - hope you all have a great day; very cold here with a harsh frost this morning; I thought it had snowed until I put my glasses on! But the sun is making an appearence and its lovely and bright.
