If you have a smart phone they do a great app too :D
Sadly my personal phone isn't in the slightest bit smart. I have a blackberry for work. However, it has reminded me to log in to my walk/jog/run account, and I've mapped my regular run. It's just under 2km which I'm fine with for January while I get into a routine. I've eaten lunch, so need to get on with sorting out the spare room before I go for today's run!
  • Brighton Belle you are right - dont beat yourself up - cooking for unwell parents is more important - the lists start again on monday and you will be able to more things - it all takes time so just keep chipping away at it. Life has a nasty habit of getting in the way sometimes too!

    Thanks Toots:)

Pigpen (I work in the mtg industry, but as an oik not an advisor): I don't think him not having a claim on the house is the important thig vis a vis whether he will be able to get a 2nd mtg, it is the fact he is named on another mtg that counts - i.e from the 2nd mtg people point of view he has this as a 'financial outgoing', potentially the full amount, if you default. If you default(I know you have no intention of doing so, but mtg companies look to protect themselves), your mtg company can pursue him for the full amount. Doesn't mean I am fully right, but that would be my initial understanding. Things are much much more difficult in the industry now and geting mtg's is not as 'easy' as it used to be.

    Caught up today:
Thursday ~ Master Bedroom and Landing!
    Level One

    [STRIKE]Declutter the floor and vacuum![/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]

    [/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clear dressing table, wipe it down and make it look nice![/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Sort out your toiletries and squeeze new ones in to be used[/STRIKE]..
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Clearout the bedside units.. or the place you stash all your 'stuff'[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]
    [/STRIKE]

    Extras

    [STRIKE]
    Bedding washed
    Cleaned inside microwave

    changed towels over
    [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]
    [/STRIKE]
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

... not supposed to be on here, just sneaking five minutes mid-planning.;)

I have dinner cooking in my new slow cooker, so at least we'll have something homemade today! Smells delicious so far.

We have been to a local stockist to look at the Belling cooker, which I still like - but I saw this in the showroom, and really like it... They also had all the range cookers, love them, but don't have the right sort of kitchen or the space. We have to decide tonight and order one... decisions, decisions...

helen - still sending warm vibes to you and your Dad.

Love and hugs, especially to toots, lady-liberty, and lamewolf, and all our poorlies.

    Nice :D

Shoes sorted and dusted... now I don't go into an office I have lots of work shoes that I don't really need (I also have lots of suits and smart-casual office wear too) but I know I shouldn't get rid of them as I may need them in the future. The suits are still useful for one-day trips and events, just not great for travelling.

Need to clean a pair of slouchy black suede boots. Need to buy a pair of knee-length black boots sometime... I have two pairs of ankle boots (one brown leather, one raspberry suede), one pair of VERY high square-toed black court shoes, and one pair of wedge sandals to consider getting rid of.

Also need to check my wardrobe... can't remember when I last saw my brown suit with pink polka dots...

So... next job... pack up the christmas decorations and work out where to hide them till I move/next year whichever happens first. Far too much room is taken up with suitcases in this house, but its an occupational hazard unfortunately. Once the decs are done, I have no excuse not to go for a run :(

Kids are driving me mad.......all day to tidy a bedroom.........

I managed to fall asleep on the sofa for half an hour until DS2 decided to shout which woke DS3. I swear they will be in bed early tonight.

Right best get a move on and get some more stuff done. Roll on bedtime.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I could do with a nap too.. unlikely though, plus I must go to bed before 3am and if I nap I won't. Mine are being litle $h!ts.. DS3 and DD3 in particular :mad::mad::mad:. They are having dinner, bath and bed.. and not necessarily in that order!:mad::mad::mad: They even made me raise my voice to them which is totally out of order!

Baby fed and changed so now I will do food while DS3 gets a shower..
