Thanks starting fred up again !!!
    Your all stars!

    Happy new year all!!!

Well i'm in again and this time i WILL stick to the lists. This is the year all the carp will be removed. The whole of moving house has falling through, so i kind of let everything go to pot:o.

But me and OH have decided to BOTH join in with decluttering the house, as we have already on a philosophical level got rid of some of the dead wood in our lives. I.e toxic peeps. So now its time for the physical.

whoops that was rant and a half!

    List time
Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One
    Sweep and mop the floors
    Clear and wipe the worksurfaces
    Level Two
Give the pan cupboard a good scrub out.. fling the plastic tubs with no lids/botttoms/broken
Wipe over window sills and shine the taps
    Level Three

    Extras
    1. HHI
Still loads left to do, so i better crack on with it.
Saying that we shifted a boots worth of carp to recycling and tip today, so i got my kitchen yayay. Shame i have to clean now, the dirts showing:rotfl:

I have done a monthly meal plan too so hopefully that will help with costs and I've made sure there are at least 2 meals a week that I can prepare and freeze for future weeks - so I might have more time for flying after work - I can but hope!

DH took me out for a long-ish drive this afternoon - when I said in my post this morning that his driving test is soon - IT'S TOMORROW!!!!!! So I might have a co-driver shortly! :rotfl: Oh, the thought of handing over my pride and joy to him driving alone................actually, he's very good - and it will be nice to have another driver in the house again!

I feel very virtuous looking out at the crossings off on my list - but it's back to work tomorrow for me so I'll have to see how much I can get done!
    :j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

I wonder what Smurf I would be?

  • well ive been naughty and emailed oh, I havent ranted, i have responded to all of his points calmly and then logically pointing out why they wont work, also cost wise me living at my parents only saves £200 a month more than living here, being debt free and me working, so i dont think £200 quid a month extra in savings (which would be wiped out by paying for college accomodation or travel) is worth me losing my sanity.

so its now having to wait till he gets back to me. i dont know if he has a mobile signal so no idea if he got my earlier text. he is on watch till midnight our time so i may not get a reply tonight, i hope i do as i cant go to the docs tomorrow morning with tears streaming down my face as im on tenterhocks waiting for his reply. im ment to be going back to work tomorrow but my back is still niggling and i need more painkillers so need to speak to docs about what else can be done as osteopath is great but im still not back to normal.

.... and for fun a while back lots of us changed our avies for a week to the picture of the Smurf we aspired to be :rotfl:
I'm not sure it was all entirely aspirational ;)

Bulk of ironing done, but airing cupboard is now full. I've also eaten some raw carrots, after restarting my food diary on fitbug and discovering how little fruit and veg I'm eating at the moment (I'm normally a 10 portions a day, mostly veg person, so its not good). Meal plan done till Friday (Thursday depends on who comes over and whether I need to dig out a veggie meal or can dispose of some of the game in the freezer). Not sure about my plans for the weekend, so can't plan that yet.

My dad is going to stay on Monday, and my DB (and possibly my SIL and nephew if we can get the timing right round his feeds) are coming over for supper so I should be able to shift some of the excess in the freezer... Clearly I need to do a LOT of entertaining in order to be able to get to the bottom of them now I'm only feeding one person!

I didn't really have to do the pans cupboard cos mine live in drawers which are kept clean on an "as used" basis, and the plastic box cupboard is regularly cleaned out as I hate raking for missing lids.:D All in all not too bad a day cleaning wise.

My Iritis is back again though, so I'm back to specs for a bit while I am putting drops in every 2 hours. Just means I'm stuck in the house as I have a quite high lens prescription and find the lack of peripheral vision I get with specs very distracting and I can't drive without my contacts in. Looks like I'll be doing more cleaning tomorrow then!
