I use soapnuts and find them really kind. You probably know I have severe psoriasis, and they do not cause a reaction. DS1 also reacts with a rash to certain washing powders and he's ok with them too.
Me too sockdrawer (have you come across http://www.psoriasis-help.org.uk/community/ , fabulous help and support) makes for a lot more sweeping and hoovering doesn't it! I use ecoballs which are also leave bedding & clothing etc more comfortable on my skin.

Thanks for the tip and the website Brighton belle I'm off to have a look at it now. I will give the ecoballs a try, I know my friend has some she never uses, so they might be good along with the soapnuts for whites. Yes, definitely a lot more sweeping, hoovering, and bed-changing! One reason why I find FL so helpful in keeping me on track!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've done really well but didn't have to go to work today!

Mananged more than I hoped and properly cleared and sorted sides rather than merely moved things! Did mean four trips up and down to bins (mainly with recycling) Shame I made the news years resolution to use the stairs - its four flights :rotfl:

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One

    [STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floors[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe the worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Wash the units and appliances.[/STRIKE]
Give the pan cupboard a good scrub out.. fling the plastic tubs with no lids/botttoms/broken
[STRIKE]Wipe over window sills and shine the taps[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
Sort paperwork, warranties, insurance docs, phone contracts etc into a file so they are easily accessible and make notes of when things need renewing!
Clean table and add a clean cloth if needed
    Dust and deweb
    Extras
    1. Binbag dance
    2. HHI
    3. Thoroughly clean a small appliance (descale kettle/decrumb toaster for example)
    4. [STRIKE]Make sure diaries/calendars are up to date with appointments!!![/STRIKE]

Feels a bit of a cheat with last one as I did it yesterday by chance but hey ho!

Seafarers - just wanted to say something as its sounds like you're having a rough time. As a fellow Ben and Jerry's fan I hope it makes things bit better :o

    hi

i am in this week but until kids back at school and i can lock dh in his office ;) then things are not going to improve round here....

DH is helping me today to get things straight and ready for kids to go back to school - but he is making more work for me - empting out drawers and then abandoning them etc.... and tidying up -which means just moving things to the side of the room in his view:mad:

so unless i have a major energy boost once kids in bed - i will have to just start mondays list again tomorrow...

but things i must do tonight are...

    get uniforms ready for tomorrow,

    BM on for packed lunches

    make flapjacks for packed lunches

find school coats, hats, gloves, shoes etc

    make DS bed up

WM been on 3 times today so lots to put away tomorrow ( i don't iron so that is one less thing to hassle me)

    see you all tomorrow

Seafarers: ruddy hell, he didn't think before he sent that email, did he? I mean, he thought about the contents but not the emotional impact. (Rolls eyes)
    Hope this kitten can help.

Apologies for missing that it's her birthday earlier. x

Been to town and managed to get DD2 some well fitting shoes and bounciness thingys in them. Also got my watch (pressie from hubby) fitted properly and his replacement battery for his watch.

Other than that, not much, made soup, got fire going, back in jimjams as crackered.

My HHC from ages ago wasn't brilliant as I got distracted by poorly hubby and had to help him out with medicnes and suchlike.
