  • the balls truley in his court now, im not going to email or text until i get an answer so will find out hopefully by midnight what the answer is as thats when he finishes his watch, although he is 4 hours ahead so god knows when im going to get a reply.

my long term plan if this doesnt work out is to move back to where we lived before and pick up my life there. i left my job up there with no hassel and should hopefully have some contacts that would put me in touch with jobs. my old boss now runs her own recruitment agency so thats of some use. i wouldnt need a car up there as public transport is pretty good and ive a couple of friends up there who would put me up on a sofa or know of a flatshare so accomodation would be sorted.

i wouldnt really take his money though as much as i would like to, wouldnt want to be indebted to him any further if we did split up and would borrow money off my parents to see me through till i found a job.

im not kneejerking as im not throwing away the last few years of my life on the basis of an email but at the same time im not going to go quietly without fighting for us if thats what he wants, its just waiting to hear what he wants so that i know where i stand.

right im going to go and declutter the ben and jerrys!

    Hello Flyladies and Flyfellas..

Whoooo busy busy thread... welcome to all you newbies and go easy on yourself this week. If you take your time this is a wonderful thing.

Hellloooooo's to all the reg's hope you all had a nice new year and if not.. please collect a hug..

Right today I have to admit I have been a bad flylady.. well kinda. I am a total Lakeside Darts fanatic so my life for the next week is going to pretty much revolve around it. :j

I was good though and got my open uni work back out, typed up and adjusted my assignment draft and now just need roughly another 2 or 3 hours and it will be done.

Flying wise.. well I have not done any today.. BUT due to the ant attack my kitchen is spotless..*:DGrins Madly:D* and no more of the little beasties have dared show themselves since the overhaul. :TTherefore a lot of things on todays list have actually been done over the weekend and I have been doing daily tidies in the kitchen making sure that the order is maintained, therefore most things will be striked out. Anyway the list..

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floors
    Clear and wipe the worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Wash the units and appliances.[/STRIKE]
Give the pan cupboard a good scrub out.. fling the plastic tubs with no lids/botttoms/broken - Noooooooooooooooo I hate that cupboard it really is the worst job!!:(
Wipe over window sills and shine the taps
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Sort paperwork, warranties, insurance docs, phone contracts etc into a file so they are easily accessible and make notes of when things need renewing![/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean table and add a clean cloth if needed
    Dust and deweb[/STRIKE]

    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]Binbag dance[/STRIKE]
    2. [STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE] NONE !!
    3. [STRIKE]Thoroughly clean a small appliance (descale kettle/decrumb toaster for example)[/STRIKE] Did toaster, micro and fridge due to ant attack
    4. [STRIKE]Make sure diaries/calendars are up to date with appointments!!![/STRIKE] Done and hanging on wall.
Okely Dokely.. Seeing as there is no more darts until 7pm I do have time to do the cupboard of chaos, shine the sink/taps and think about what to cook for tea.

... HHC now.. Off I fly......

    Love, Hugs and Spoons

Valli fwiw, I've only ever met one of Mr LW's relatives in the eight and a half years we've been together; that was Sis1, who passed away a fortnight ago. We know for a fact Sis2 hates me like poison, sight unseen, and his cousin refuses to acknowledge my existence. No idea why. He has few friends, and doesn't see them very often, although since "A" split from his wife, we've had him over a few times - seems like when it's couples, no-one wants to intrude on other families' together time iyswim. I only have a couple of friends, only 1 of whom I'm in "regular" contact with, and we see her about once a year, if that.

I'm another with a total lack of social skills, and in fact have severe social phobia.

Probably all totally irrelevant, in the grand scheme of things....:D

Seafarers (((HUGS))) and more (((HUGS))) and a big bar of chocolate.

No wise words I'm afraid - and if I wrote my initial reaction to that email, I'd be banned from MSE! But I didn't want to read and run without offering a bit of moral support, iyswim.:o

    OK, down to flying.....

****Does anyone know if there is a way to get tinsel stains out of glosswork?****

Finally, I was naughty. Very naughty. I recluttered the AV unit with this little gem -
    showimage.php?image=denon-rcd-m38dab-silver.jpg&max_width=330&max_height=330

Mild bleach on the tinsel stains??

Ah, the Denon. Auditioned several CD players for 6 hours over 3 different days. Bought a Naim as it sounded best with our Dynaudio speakers - it's a matched set for the TV surround sound.

Oh, sorry, back to reality! Not a huge amount accomplished yet as I've been to my Mum's as I didn't get there over Christmas. However, the tree and cards have been taken down, tree and decs back in their boxes and cards to go to recycling as soon as they've been checked for fresh addresses and additions and subtractions to the households.

Hope all are well and your littlies aren't making a fuss about going back to nursery or school!

Seafarers - another thought if he has 6 months during which time he can go to college you could time it right and he could look after the baby for the 3 months that you need to return to work. I think lots of colleges have crèches.
