Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!

Kitchen looked almost good yesterday - very pleased with myself. DH has been working on the kitchen wall today so the whole place looks like a bomb's hit it again and I won't even mention what the worksurfaces look like - they were beautiful yesterday:(. On the plus side he's promised to put it all right before our friends come over for dinner tonight!

Started to tackle living room and almost immediately made the mistake of trying to move our coffee table which promptly collapsed all over the floor. So lost a good hour reconstructing it and trying to cram everything back into the drawers that had fallen out - it's not on my to-do list so not even going to attempt to sort today. In fact I've now left the living room as it was and shut the door firmly on it - we just won't take our visitors in there tonight!

Off to do the bathroom instead - visitors will definitely need to use that and it's the one room I do normally mangage to keep on top of so shouldn't take too long...

    Hello everyone,
Not had the massive prodictive day I wanted to have, but I have forgiven myself!!!:o
    I did do:
wipe round and gentle straighten up in the kitchen
    dusted front room
    tidied the hall
clean outside of fridge (which is in the hall... don't ask )
hoovered round (including the scary place that is OH office)
switched over laptop to newer model (all shiny and new and clean LOL)

Just off to do the bathroom and then spent rest of afternoon with my friends who are coming round for a cuppa.
Feel free to pull up a setee and join us :D

    Much love to all!!!
(Thanks for the hugs and support) :A

Melody69 sounds like we are on a very simular path!!!
(same reason for doing bathroom :D:D )

    Afternoon all

I'm having a carp week!! Haven't slept all week - sick of being tired

Dad is back in hospital - I called an Emergency Doc out to him this morning cos his breathing was so bad, Doc called an ambulance, they came and took him away, this time I am seriously worried about him. I would of called the Ambulance straight away but hospital told us to call Doc first so he could be re-admitted to ward - Doc said that wasn't possible so called an Ambulance - Ambulance person said why did it take us so long to call them - honestly, what do you do - hospital, Doc and Ambulance can't agree on what to do!! So he is in A&E instead of the ward, ward are full and can't have him and he is so bloody ill again.

Ok rant over - thanks for listening and it makes me feel better to hammer it all out on the keyboard.

MrsChaos - I have all my DD's written down in a book, transfer amounts on to new page each month [works easier for me than spread sheet] I check internet banking daily so I know what is happening.

Soappie - I too love the "nest egg" pot

Flying - I have just S&S'd the kitchen, put some shopping away, and nothing else

Have had a week full of pregnancy signs - AF due to visit on Monday but have had extremely light spotting last night and this morning so either implantation or more than likely AF is here but not showing herself fully yet :) I do tend to convince myself every couple of months that I may be pregnant :wall: I have had more signs this time though but think it's probably in my head? I shall feel better with either full AF or positive test so I know where I am :)

Tell me about it, I had to do a test the morning we went on holiday, no AF and negative, my pill is causing all sorts of problems so need to make a docs appointment to try and change things.

Snow here again. 1 load of washing left to do. The last lot is stuff that doesn't spin well so it is dripping onto the snow outside on the line!

OH is report writing today so I am tea lady which is fine as I have a weird headache that is bugging me. Trying to get it all done so we can get to a wedding fair tomorrow. We have changed our mind on where we will get married. Edinburgh would have been great as it is special to us but couldn't find a suitable reception venue so trying somewhere a bit more local on this side of the water. We organised OHs dad's 80th there and it is quite small and personal, they are the ones with the fair tomorrow so fingers crossed. I am going to make a list of questions in a sec because if they have one of our possible dates and the price is suitable I will provisionally book tomorrow.

Anyway must go so OH can get working again. Only have my lappy at the mo so he is using that.

Thank you for the comments on the cookers - I posted the wrong link, :o it would be a double oven Smeg as well. Just wondering if it is worth the extra money. Don't have time to go and look at any, will be ordering one later this afternoon, for Tuesday delivery (doing a soappie!!:D although she'd no doubt have one fitted by dinner time tonight!)

Huge hugs Helen, and very positive vibes being sent in your Dad's direction.
