Serena - My mum (who is very OS and cooks a lot) does not like her ceramic hob but I can't for the life of me remember why. Beyond that when I did my research the consensus was that you are paying a lot for the badge on the Smeg and that the actually build quality is no better.

Pottering is my limit today but I have had a vague tidy of the kitchen and the cloakroom.

((((((((hugs)))))) for Helen and her dad.

Bedroom window de-mildewed. House now smells delicious (I use sweet orange oil for cleaning the mould off the metal window frames). And now I really have run out of excuses not to go for a run. I guess I'd better go and get changed then :(
  • Done loads of my garage - amazing what a couple of HHC's will do :) Also unloaded and reloaded dw and took bread out of bread machine. I also decluttered a slice of said bread - well it would be rude not to, really ;)

No running for me otday - will go out for one tomorrow - had to get most of the house back in order today leaving only a bit more for tomorrow plus a tiny bit of ironing.

Decluttered 3 things into the bin which took up a load of room and tidied next Christmas presents into the storage box I can now get to. Hoping some fitness equipment sells that I no longer use - fingers crossed and this will free up a load more space if it does

    Thanks everyone
Mum has phoned from the hospital to say that he has pneumonia [sp?] and that his blood count is still wrong - they have given him steroids and stronger antibiotics, the thing I dread most is telling DD and DS that he is back in hospital cos DD in particular is very very attached to him and this time it doesn't look good!!

Ishtar - its good to hear that your are feeling better and on a roll by the sounds of it - hows your Mum?
    tootsxx

    Toots Hope you're feeling well?
Mum's doing fine - thanks for remembering! - she's still seeing the consultant every three months, but in May this year it'll change to six-monthly. She's still in remission, thank goodness - couldn't imagine life without her (selfish, I know...).

No flying done today...been extra busy as I help out at a WeightWatchers meeting and it ran over by an hour this morning due to many, many new members. Then had loads to do in town and only got back an hour ago...then found had no bread so made scones for tea.

I also bought some gorgeous fabric to make a top and skirt with...so that'll keep me occupied (as if I don't have enough to do!).

We've got several car loads for the dump tomorrow, so that's what the plan is so far.

But...I'm eyeing up the hallway as I type and I think there'll be another car load before the end of the evening!

Anyway, have a good evening all.
    Take care

Been for my run... I'm sticking to approx 2km for the moment until it gets easy and then I'll try to build it up. It's taking me around 12 minutes at the moment (I must go with someone who has gadgets so I can check both the distance and the time!). I'd like to get up to 5km in 30 minutes, so might plan this as one of my goals for the first 3 months of the year. I'm working on them at the moment.

Oh well, time for a shower, and then I can get things sorted out for tonight.
