Have been to the hairdressers and spent loads of money. I really do resent it, but I don't want to be grey.
Have vac'd the WHOLE house, dusted and polished LR and our bedroom, and have mopped the kitchen floor.
Banged my head on a wardrobe in the bedroom, and have a headache, so it's an excuse for a lie down now.

serena - I would go for the best oven you can afford TBH. You use it every day, and it isn't a luxury!
Pheasants pot roasting in SC with apple, bacon, onion and red wine. Not sure how they'll turn out.
Moved a rose today that's been heeled in for over a year. The soil in the new beds has benefitted from the frost, which has broken down the lumps in the clay, but I think I still need to take quite a bit out and replace it with topsoil (I have a couple of bags I can use) before I plant bulbs as the ground is very waterlogged. However, the sun is at least shining, the house is relatively clean and tidy.
Just sorting out some money things... want to pay a chunk of my mortgage I thinkas interest rates on savings are so low.
Running out of excuses not to go for a run... if I go now, I have time to shower and then potter about doing odds and ends of housework while I finish making supper (not quite sure what we're having... need to think of something to do with either stewed plums or apple puree and eggs. I'm trying not to buy any food at the moment as the freezers are still so full!0 -
