  • Hello everyone. i hope that you are all having a good start to the weekend.
Its still raining here..boo. DH has taken the kiddlies to go and get their hair cut, after years of trying to grow hers DD has now decided she wants it short?? Ho hum!
I should really get on and have a tidy round. I'm hoping to get DS bedroom sorted this afternoon and help the kids finish their thank you cards. Followed by nice long soak in the bath and an early night...again. I am so tired from this flu bug thing.

    Morning all

Soappie - hugs for you, I feel exactly the same. My GUAG has gone again and we are still under grey cloud, still a chance of sun for tomorrow

Pottered so far today and that is it.

DH has decluttered the stuff to the scrap store. He'll take DS3 to squash in a minute.

DS1&2 in the living room with the footie on - one supports Leeds and one Arsensal so it's so going to end in tears (DS3 also supports Arsenal and DH Leeds - just to be DA I support Spurs :p)

Off to hoover upstairs so I can't hear the shouting and then I'll clean the bathroom and that will be today's token flying.

Parcel posted, one load of glass to recycling centre, 4 miles walked, kindling, log baskets and coal refilled, ash emptied, cake tins returned to shed. DW is finished so needs emptying. Cleaning cloths need washing so the machine can have a hot cycle for a change. Dehumidifier needs plugging in in the utility room as the sun lounger cushions are still feeling a little damp.

Email has arrived from dyson telling me to wash the filters Piggers :D

Soappie - I thought we were getting sun too. NOT impressed.
