So much for not being that tired - had my nap on Friday evening then didn't get up until 10:30am on Saturday, then came home from my nephew's birthday party about 16:30pm and went for another nap!:rotfl:

My nephew's birthday party was quite  - lots of children running about screaming plus sweeties and a bouncy castle. It was like Lord of the Flies on that bouncy castle and I'm not kidding. :rotfl: Poor OH was traumatised by all the children high on E numbers. :rotfl:

My sister got a really good deal though - hall plus bouncy castle and music system for 2 hours for a really reasonable price. :T Also got to play with my sister's friend's baby, only 5 months and he was so excited and interested in everything - he was lovely. :) Oh dear I think I'm getting broody again. :p

Spent Sunday relaxing with OH and started my latest sock monkey for his friend's wee girl. Watched "Taken" the Liam Neeson film and quite enjoyed it although it was a bit brutal. We were cheering him on and counting how many baddies got their faces slammed into things. :rotfl:

So far today I've done Shred level 1 again - was feeling a bit sick and faint though so didn't do it very well, probably should have eaten first. Need to do more washing and ironing - where does it all come from? There's only the two of us!

Thinking about nipping into town quickly as have seen a book on offer at WH Smith that I've been wanting for ages. Also need to do a bit more work on my sock monkey later.

Phoned the student awards place today as still haven't got the overpayment back that I was due. They told me seven working days two weeks ago - turns out they had put in the wrong sort code so some random person got £27. Anyway, sorted now and was confirmed that it's actually £37 I'm due back as another £10 had been paid at the start of August. :j

Also nipped into town yesterday to buy WH Smith's book of the week for half price - Heartstone. Have been waiting for it to come out in paperback for ages and the half price deal meant it was the same price as Amazon but without the wait. :j Love this series of books. :)

So today I woke up feeling all stuffed up and rotten. No Shred in this state thank you very much. :o Planning on going swimming later anyway and back to work tomorrow (boo hoo).

Stuffed and sewn on the sock monkey's tail yesterday plus sewn the arms. Will try and stuff and stitch the arms to the monkey today.

Had a mad fit at the PS3 yesterday when it decided not to work with the sound bar we have. So every DVD had no sound. Phoned OH after half an hour of trying to fix it and according to him screeched down the phone at him to fix it. :o He did fix it but I just get so frustrated by these things that I wasn't very rational and do believe that "Stop laughing at me" said whilst nearly crying was a frequent repetition during our conversation. :o I think I might be hormonal (or just crazy).

Still feeling stuffed up and not great but dragged myself out of bed and stuck a washing on, cleaned and emptied the bin, cleaned the litter tray and fed the greeting cats. Also organised my dinner for work tonight and got my uniform, bag and shoes ready to go.

Since this woke me up a bit I decided to do some Pilates - really couldn't face Shred. :o So did 30 mins of my Pilates DVD and I actually feel a bit better for it. :) My two female cats were sitting in the cardboard Tassimo box with their heads stuck out watching me. :rotfl: My boy cat was just getting in the way as usual - he likes to lie on the mat beside me. :D

Yesterday I filed all the paperwork away that had been lying about and shredded the big pile of receipts etc that we needed to get rid of. Also stuffed and sewed the monkey arms on, aiming for the ears to be attached today before work.

Feeling a bit worn out now and could do with a duvet day on the couch with the cats but work it is. :( Only seven shifts before another day off - depressed myself now.

Feeling very sore after yesterday's Pilates so a rest day today. Tired from work, only six more shifts to go.

Only managed one monkey ear yesterday, might get the other one done today but also have washing and ironing to do before work so maybe not.

No real money news, everything seems to be okay for the moment. As for factor money we've decided to put £75 p/m aside instead of the usual £50 to give us a bit more of a buffer when they want this extra money on top of our usual bill and buildings insurance. Still going to be a struggle and still something I really resent - why should we have to struggle when we're the ones who do pay our fees?

Still feeling a bit off today and had a horrible second half on my shift at work last night. :( Hoping tonight will be better, poor OH got ranted at about it when he picked me up.

Have done 20 mins of Pilates again this morning, really not up to facing Shred when I'm working lates. Have ordered a yoga DVD but it will be a month before I get it, due to low stock or something. Thinking of ordering another exercise DVD for a bit more variety but not sure what type.

Looks like I've only lost 1 lb in three weeks. :o But at least I haven't put on any more weight. Still trying to cut down on portion size and alcohol and combine it with the exercise and will see what happens.

Did manage my washing and ironing yesterday before work but sadly the sock monkey still only has one ear.

On the survey front I got £10 from one site through to my bank a/c today. Still waiting on £27 from another one - I'm sure I asked for it to my Paypal but when I checked on their site I couldn't see the option for Paypal, only a cheque. Hmm, confused. Also waiting for £12 from another site and still haven't had my money back from SAAS.

Horrible, horrible weather today, work is probably going to be a nightmare tonight. :( Only two more shifts to go though and I'm off. :j

Woke up an hour later than usual this morning but still managed to make myself do Shred. :j I had a go at level 2 as well. Knackering. I really think JM means it when she says she wants you to feel like you're going to die. I'm so unfit. :o

Have ordered another couple of exercise DVD's as well - one is Yogalates which looks interesting and the other is another 10 min solution DVD as they are quite a good series - it's a dance one as well, so hoping it's a bit more enjoyable.

In good news I've got my overpayment back from SAAS. :j Got the paypal money through, it was £25 though not £27 like I thought. So got a nice balance in my paypal a/c that I think I will put towards a winter coat/jacket - warm and must have a hood!

Not sure what I'll do with the survey money and overpayment refund in my bank a/c though, will have to think about it but leaning towards starting to save towards bigger goals i.e. paying off NR loan, a house deposit or something like that.

Work was hellish last night - didn't stop from 2pm until 11:25pm except for half an hour to eat my dinner. :( Really hope it's not as bad tonight. So glad I'm off tomorrow. I've swapped shifts as well so after tonight I'm not back until next Monday. :T The swap does mean I'll be working late shifts two weekends in a row but the person I've swapped with will owe me a favour so it will work out at some point.

So after the shift from hell last night I decided to be kind to myself this morning and have a rest day from exercise. Will be back on it tomorrow.

Not much else to report, just plodding on at the moment and just want to get tonight's shift over with. Really not looking forward to the winter when work is just hellish every day. :(

Work wasn't too bad on Tuesday night. Had a slight change of plans with days off as working overtime on Friday now. Just thinking of the money and still have Saturday and Sunday off.

Had my chiropractor appointment yesterday and my back really needed sorting out, was so sore. Feeling much better today though. :) Went round to my mum's after and saw my twin nieces who were mad as usual. :D

Got my new exercise DVD's delivered yesterday so tried the dance one - was hopelessly uncoordinated but it was actually okay and didn't feel like exercise. I felt it in my legs later though as was quite stiff and sore - I'd only done two of the 10 minute segments. :o

Tried the first workout on the yogalates today and thought it was quite good. Think I'm having problems with keeping my spine in neutral though so will have to practise that as don't want to cause myself back problems.

Might go out shopping today but have a really sore throat so will see how I feel later.

Saw my mum and nieces again yesterday afternoon - the girls had a right good rummage around my flat. They escaped into the computer room (as 3yos do) and when I followed they had each sat themselves at a desk and were drawing over the letters/documents left out. That'll teach me to be tidier. :o

Overtime shift today was fine and did a bit of cleaning and put a washing on when I got home. Also did 30 mins of my new dance/exercise DVD - still hopelessly uncoordinated and can't move arms and legs at the same time when moving but it's fun rather than frustrating and is a bit of a change from my other exercise DVD's. :o

Just running myself a nice hot bath and am going to relax. Have stripped the bed so will put clean bedding on before going in my bath. I have a Buffy bar from Lush that I found so will be using that to give myself a good scrub. :D

OH is going home via M&S for the dine in for £10 deal and we are going to watch one of the (original) Star Wars films that have just been released on Blu-Ray. I'm a geek and I don't care. :p

Must finish the sock monkey this weekend - just need to sew on one ear, the face and the eyes and it's done. *slaps own wrist*

Good news - the sock monkey was finished last night. :j:j Should really start making some more for Christmas but I'm sooo lazy. :o

I've been practising my purl stitch in knitting and think I might finally have twigged how to do it. My friend very helpfully tried to explain it and just confused me, then ended with "It's like a knit stitch but backwards". My brain didn't like that. Several Youtube videos later I think I've got it but will need to have it mum-approved. Still only on practise squares cos my urge to knit comes and goes.

Did 30 mins of yogalates after work today and thought it was easy and didn't feel like a work out. I'm feeling it now. :o Very achey and a bit stiff - I did the second work out which focuses on the lower body and realised my hips are so stiff. I know I have tight hip flexors but still. :o

Have cleaned the bathroom, did a lot of shirt ironing (which I hate but I did watch Horrible Histories which made me laugh whilst doing it), washed the dishes and put a washing on and hung it up. Also banked a cheque from another survey site on my way home from work and bought exciting things from pound land like drain unblocker - that's probably not a word. :p

Went out for lunch yesterday with OH and my mum as OH wanted to try a new Italian tapas place. We got free food because it was a staff training day. :j:j Only had to pay for drinks. :D

OH also sent me this link which made me :rotfl:

Still searching for the perfect coat. *sigh*
