Sashybo - Stray thoughts amongst the wilderness of debt

My friend made all the main buttonhole and bouquet flowers using silk flowers... but something funky like the felt and buttons idea would be a lovely idea!0

Thanks psycho, have seen some lovely ones people have made themselves and just think they are a bit different and of course you can keep it afterwards. :j
Work was okay today, now off until Monday morning. :T We are just having a quiet night in, horrible weather outside anyway.
Good news came today in the post - I got an income tax refund from last year - £440! :j:j So that can be put towards our venue hire and will pay nearly half. :j:j Good timing!
Have decided when we book (hopefully in next two weeks) we will put it onto OH's cc then do a life of balance transfer to my cc (6.9% instead of 34.9% on OH's cc ). With my tax refund I can then pay nearly half of the balance off straight away. :T So glad this money came through (totally unexpectedly) as was worrying again last night about how we would be able to pay for everything.
Thinking of having sunflowers for the tables as they are nice and cheery. But maybe too tall?
Think I'll start a new diary tomorrow for the new year - onwards and upwards (although not the debt!).

Thanks psycho, yes I'm definitely liking the idea of the sunflowers and OH likes them too. Could get some vases from Ikea or somewhere like that.
Getting a bit ahead of myself there though - need to book the venue and secure the date and a million other things before I need to worry about the room/table decorations.:rotfl:
