  • Hi sashybo

Well done on paying off OH's credit card, not long to go until the other card is paid off :j

I noticed the other night on my local For Sale page on Facebook that people are offering sock monkeys for Xmas - willhave to see how much they charge - maybe this could be a sideline for you :rotfl:

:rotfl: gilli, don't worry I've taken to pining for the boots from afar. :(:rotfl: I don't dare go near the shop at the moment for fear of trying them on and just buying them. :o

:hello: Hi EE, nice to "see" you. Thanks for the well done. :) Yes sock monkey selling would be good if it didn't take me weeks to get one done. :o Too easily distracted. :o Current sock monkey is sitting with its arms lying on its lap atm as haven't had time to sew them on yet.

Went shopping with my mum on Thursday but only bought things for myself instead of for Christmas. And on my way out to meet her I slipped and fell down my close stairs and landed on the small of my back. Am in lots of pain, think it's badly bruised. :( Have been hobbling to and from work the last few days, on early shifts for another 5 days now.

Got the £100 cheque through for the server so need OH to cash it and then can pay it off the cc, bringing it down to £270. :T

Well, my back is still very achey. :( Did 10 mins of yoga today to try and stretch it out/loosen it a bit but not sure if I've just made it worse.

Work was busy but went in quickly - only three more shifts then my five days off. :j

OH managed to get a mystery shop for a restaurant so we had a late lunch/dinner there after I finished work yesterday. With the reimbursement he will get, it only cost us £15. :D

Poor sock monkey is still armless, I got distracted by Folksy last night and ended up buying some soap towards Christmas presents. :o

Thanks gilli, replied on your diary.

Back feeling a lot better today so think that the yoga and hot bath combination was a good one. :j Still quite sore if I sit too long but have done another 10 mins of yoga tonight and it felt so nice just stretching. Really enjoying my yoga. :)

Bought a few bits and bobs in town after work but have really not been up to much. Have been doing surveys to get more vouchers towards Christmas.

Back is still sore when I sit for too long. :( Have been doing a bit of yoga and definitely think it's loosened it up a bit though.

Went out last night with some people from work and had a nice time. Drank quite a lot but wasn't actually drunk which was weird but at least no hangover today. :) Off for five days now. :j

Off to my friend's for Bonfire night tomorrow night - he and his partner are having a wee party which will be nice. Mainly my older friends that I went to school with so have known most of them at least 15 years. Should be quite a relaxed night.

Got up this morning and cleaned and emptied the bin and the cat litter box. Have a big pile of ironing waiting for me later, yuck. Knackered from my seven early shifts, will take a couple of days to recover.

I've still not bought the boots I want that are too expensive even though I was near the shop yesterday. :j

Had a nice time on Bonfire night at my friend's house, had rolls and sausage and other lovely food. Forgot my scarf and gloves though so have quite a sore throat now as it was pretty cold. Got home quite late as got the last train back and then OH picked me up.

Had a mostly relaxing day yesterday with OH - managed to finish off my ironing as well. :j OH made a very nice lasagne and I've got the last portion leftover for my lunch today. :)

My current sock monkey also has one arm sewn on, finally. :D:o Aiming to sew the other on today. Would like to make a start on making some toy mice with catnip for the cats as most of their toys are a bit knackered.

Will see how I go though, just chilling out today, it's horrible outside - cold and foggy. Have ordered some foam balls for my male cat as he loves playing fetch with them and recently re-discovered his last remaining (raggedy) foam ball. Everytime I sit down he appears at my feet with the bogging ball in his mouth wanting to play. :rotfl:

Have done 10 mins of cardio and 20 mins of yoga this morning. Definitely haven't lost any more weight and know I need to do more cardio to shift the fat around my stomach and thighs. :( My back is still pretty sore but think I didn't move enough over the weekend and it stiffened up again. :( Also need to stop eating rubbish but food is definitely my weakness. :o

Waiting for the £100 cheque to clear (should be cleared by now) and for OH to transfer it to me so I can pay it off the cc.

Received a few vouchers I'd ordered from survey sites over the weekend so have; £15 Boots vouchers, £20 Debenhams, £10 Next and £10 Argos. Hoping to use these towards Christmas presents, probably have around half of the presents done already though which isn't bad. :) Seem to keep picking up bits for different people and don't think I have one person fully finished yet.

I actually managed to finish my sock monkey yesterday. :j Just decided to keep going as was in the mood for it. I even made a pair of glasses for it from some gold glittery pipe cleaners - it looks a bit Elton John now. :rotfl: So that's OH's gran's birthday present sorted. Will sort out a photo at some point.

Might have a go at the catnip mice today if I have time. Meant to be going shopping with my mum but will see how it goes as today is her only day off this week.

My throat is really killing me today. :( Back is still its usual at the moment, will have to do a bit of yoga later at the very least.
