Okay, needless to say we didn't go swimming last night either as OH was exhausted :(. I was walking around the town with my mum for a few hours though so that's better than nothing. In better news I did 20 minutes of Blast Off Belly Fat this afternoon after work. :) It hurt. :o

Dentist went well, the dentist was very pleased with my teeth and I didn't even need a scale and polish. :j OH needed one but it has really whitened his teeth and they look so much better.

Bought two books for part of my nephew's birthday and a dress for the new baby. Forgot wrapping paper for the baby gift so got that today after work and will post it off at the start of next week. OH needs something returned by post and is sending a card to his gran as she's not been well, so will do them all together.

Work wasn't too bad today apart from the 5am alarm clock, I'm really not a morning person at all. :( But getting to finish work at 2pm is quite nice. :)

Did my exercise when I got home, did a washing and ironed the previous washing. Watched another Audrey Hepburn film (Funny Face) whilst doing the above and was a bit horrified because it was a musical. Was pretty much doing my head in by the end - really not a musical fan.

At least you give your workout DVD's a try Sashybo, i must have at least 10 different exercise dvd's and other than having a quick look at them on my PC, i've never even tried doing one :o
I do love swimming tho and would go everyday if i could but the nearest swimming pool is about 10 miles away, so with the cost of petrol and then the cost to swim, it all adds up :(
Its the only exercise i really enjoy :)
If i ever win the lottery i will buy a house with its own swimming pool :D
    Errrr...come back later ;)

    Hi Wesker :hello:

I only have 3 exercise DVD's and I find I like different bits of each one. I only do them cos I'm not ready to exercise in public (apart from swimming).

I'm lucky that the swimming pool is only 5 minutes walk from my flat - and I still don't go as much as I should. :o

A house with a swimming pool though...that's an idea! :D

Forgot to mention earlier, one thing I did like about Funny Face was the wedding dress Audrey wears in it. Just thought it was a lovely style and very simple compared to some of the meringues you see. :)

Well done on the exercising :). I need to get back into it, think I'll do another round of the shred...
Did you ever get your Harry potter book?

    Hi LittleBoots :hello:

Just got my Harry Potter book yesterday, the postman apologised and said it should have been delivered earlier but wasn't in a rush for it and glad I finally ordered a copy that wasn't cancelled!:) Plus the money went to the Cat's Protection League, so to a good cause. :D

I'm thinking of doing some Shred this week as well but not sure if I'm brave enough...

Work was okay but feeling very sleepy - do NOT like getting up at 5am for seven days in a row. :(

OH's friend is meant to be cutting my hair today but not sure if that's still happening as he is quite hungover today. Not sure a hungover hairdresser is a good idea!

Hi all, well did get my hair cut after all - just a tidy up really as my hair is very thick so needs taming every six to eight weeks or it gets ridiculous. Very lucky that OH's friend is happy to cut my hair in return for dinner and/or cakes. :j

Extremely tired from work today as had a very busy morning. Took books back to the library after work and then came home and did Shred level 1.:eek: It was hard  and I so wanted to lie down and sleep when I got home, not exercise. :o But I knew I would have to come on here and confess my laziness so I made myself do it. :p

Also stuck a washing on as we seem to be running mysteriously short of towels. Don't know what's going on - I suspect OH though. :p

In money news I paid £30 off OH's Capital One cc today so it's down to £50 now - not long till it's gone. :j

Worked out the debt repayment for August and we've paid back £398.94 this month. Could have been better but total debt is now under £9,000 which is a nice feeling.:j

Baby gift and OH's return sent off today as well - I made him do the online postage thingy so I could just stick them in the post box on the way to work. :T Just need him to write his Gran's card as she is back in hospital again, the poor wee soul. :(

Tired. Tired. Tired. Another three shifts to go then my long weekend - would have been two shifts but I agreed to work overtime - why oh why did I agree to do it? I'm going to be a total zombie by Friday afternoon. :( But at least I get four days off after that. :j

Went to the supermarket on the way home to buy meat for the cats and a few other things crept into my basket. :o I really wanted peanut butter with apple so bought that - it's been ages since I've had it, yum. :) Everyone always looks at me like I'm a weirdo when I say I eat slices of apple with peanut butter on them. :rotfl: But good news is I didn't buy chocolate or biscuits or anything like that. :T

Did Shred level 1 again when I got home. It felt harder today - maybe because I'm tired and my muscles are achey from yesterday's Shred. :o It really makes the muscles in my chest and arms ache but that's probably because I have no upper body strength!

But I made myself do it and then had a nice hot shower. Have now got nice pyjamas on and am planning to relax with the kitties. Think I'll have a go at Pilates or Blast Off Belly Fat tomorrow for a bit of a change. I'm thinking that might be a way of keeping myself interested...hmm.

Should really think about starting the sock monkey that OH said I would make for someone's little girl (without asking me!! And I don't know them!) but am too knackered tbh.

Was far too tired to exercise today, so just relaxed and had a little nap. Only two more shifts to go now. :j

Going swimming tomorrow night so that's my exercise sorted for tomorrow.

Heading to my friend's house after work tomorrow for lunch as well - going to be knackered again but haven't been very sociable lately so need to make the effort.

Bought some toys on the 2 for £15 deal at Argos today for my nephews and nieces as they all have birthdays within a month of each other.

Hi LittleBoots :hello: Yes finally got four days off and am very happy about it. :j My overtime shift today was fine and wasn't as tired as I thought I would be.

OH passed all of the assessments for the job he's going for - 3 different assessment days. He needs to wait a couple of weeks to see if he will get the job now - he's going to be a nervous wreck! But he's done really well to pass all of the assessments and is happy that's he's got so far. :)

No swimming last night as fell asleep on the couch (when OH was talking to me :o) but I walked to my friend's house and back instead of driving so that was 20 minutes each way. Was all uphill on the way there so was knackered by the time I got to her house. :rotfl:

OH is out having a few drinks to celebrate passing his assessments and I'm just relaxing. Came home and cleaned the bathroom and then cleaned out the cat litter (yuck). Have ironing and washing to do but will maybe leave it until tomorrow.

Having a problem with our factors (again) - quite a few flat owners in the development haven't been paying their factor fees and now owe thousands between them. The factors are pursuing them but are saying that in the meantime every other flat has got to pay the shortfall. £200 per flat! On top of our usual quarterly factor bill - so the people who are paying are being punished by having to pay almost double for our next bill. Apparently we get it back once they get money out of the people who aren't paying but it doesn't seem very likely to me. Raging. :(

I don't think we will be able to afford our usual factor bill (approx £150) plus this £200 and the renewal of the block insurance which will be around the same time (about £75/£100 at a guess). We usually save £50 p/m towards our factor fees and this has been working out quite well. Just paid them the last quarter though so have nothing in that account for now. :( So annoyed. We will have to look at paying over at least two months - no way out of paying it unfortunately.
