I'm looking for a chicken curry recipe (preferably syn free). Do you use the one with loads of different spices or is there a simpler way? I've done the lamb dhansak and that is OK but I fancy something a bit fruitier.

There is a GORGEOUS chicken curry recipe in the latest mag- Ive made it twice and its SOO good! even the OH does :) and its completly syn free.

If do dont have the latest mag- lemme know and I'll post the recipe for you hun :D[/QUOTE]

Thanks for the offer but I have the magazine. I was just checking if anyone had tried it because I'll need to buy a few more spices and I wasn't going to bother if it wasn't good.
    Hellloooo everybody :)

Hope everybody is good and everthing has calmed down abit :)

Ive had a much better day today food wise I think! Lots of superfree :D

Please..please ...please correct me if Im going anything wrong or could be doing better as I'm still a newbie :)

    EE Day

B- FF Nat Yogurt with Apple
    2x Apricots

L- HM Soup (same as yesterday)
1 Sml slice WM bread (HeB)
Salad with HM dressing (Syn free)
    5 Crabsticks
    Pineapple

    D- 100% Meat beef burgers
    Peppers and Onions
    Corn on the cob
    Frozen Raspberries
Skinny cow ice-cream (4 syns) (I'm counting them as 4 as nobody replied to my earlier post about how many they would be :( I'm guessing thats about right though!

Snacks and Drinks- Clementine, 2 cups fruit tea, 3x can D.coke (yes I know i have a problem :P)
    4 big glasses of water
    350ml Skimmed milk- HeA

Does that sound ok??? really hope I lose some weight this week. I'm really paranoid that I'm not going to for some reason and its making me abit panicy! :(

Can I ask if your small slice of bread for HEB is WW or ordinary wholemeal? I have both in the freezer. I actually prefer the 'real' bread from the ordinary family size loaf but it's a choice (I think) of 1 slice of that or 3 slices of WW. I sometimes go for the WW so I can have a slice with breakfast and then keep 2 for my lunch of a sandwich or to have with soup. To the poster who asked for butter alternatives, I also find that I can have my bread plain as long as there's something wet with it. So marmite or cucumber or tomato in the sandwich and it's fine. I also prefer to toast the bread with my soup then I find I can nibble it like a cracker and it lasts longer:)

I very rarely put spread on my jacket spuds or my nimble bread since joining sw over 3 years ago. on my bread, if making a sandwich, I use a laughing cow triangle or if having toast with my boiled eggs then I have marmite or I have nowt at all ! perhaps a bit of chilli sauce. its funny because on the rare occasion I have spread on my jackets, I can really taste it and don't like it !

Now, I cannot read through the 20 or so pages you've written over the past couple of nights, but I did spot a bit of toilet talk, so I am going to tell you quietly what I've bought myself for my birthday.

a colonic irrigation :rotfl: A girl at work had one yesterday and loved it. If "loved it" is the phrase I'm looking for. Anyway, I'm giving it a bash next week.
I've had it done a couple of times and felt so much better afterwards. Hoping to go again when DH comes home.

:T Well done 30 something & ANY CHANCE on your weight losses and BIG hugs to all who are strugling

On that note, I think it might be best for people if I leave this thread for a while. It's clear that a lot of what I say here isn't welcome. Although I've tried, I just can't be Haribo about every single thing - there are some things that need to be questioned or openly debated but that doesn't seem to be the point of the thread. It's a great thread but I don't think it's right for me and if my absence helps others lose weight and hit their goals then I've done the right thing.

don't leave Woot, your forth righted-ness (is that a word?) is welcome,at least to me,my husband has the same 'style' and its very refreshing.

Although its not nice when members take offense at what you say,it IS a forum and therefore we all should feel free to speak our minds.

So,politics anyone? ;) how funny that John Prescott has bulimia? wouldn't you think he'd be thinner? ( see what i did there? ):D:D

Well I've just been to an early morning physio appointment who has cleared me for low impact fitness with the scary army people on Saturday. I am petrified but determined to do it! I WILL GET FIT!

    Today is an EE day!

    Lunch
    Jacket Potato
    Cheese (HEA)
    Carrots (lots of)
    Butter (10g portion thingy) - 3.5 syns

    Dinner
    Duck breast
    Cabbage and bacon

    Snacks

    Weetabix Oatybar (HEB)
    Grapes

Now in the past I have cheated terribly with the duck, because the skin is so nice and it's a treat.....a 20 syn treat as I just worked out . So I will be taking the skin off and doing it properly the SW way to make it free.

Your kind words are appreciated and I still find it bizarre that people take offense to mere words on a forum from a stranger, but I think it's best if I try and do things how they are done here - this thread was around for a long time before I was!
Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Well folks my ea sports II game has just arrived and hubby has set it up .. I also got my raiser for the board and the 1kg weights ... I had a look at one of the step routines and OMG it has steps on I don't know -something called the "L step" for a start ... so I WILL be taking the raiser off the board and NOT using the weights whilst I get used to it  -if you hear thunder later or see a news flash about earthquakes in Germany it will be yours truely falling a*se over t*t out of the patio doors :rotfl:
wish me luck folks -Im going in..... oh and if Im not here tomorow its will be because Im in traction :p - have a good evening all..

oh and the Irish beef stew was yummy :D

Mrs M, do you need the Wii fit for that or can you use it without? I have a Wii but no Wii fit!!

WI for me tonight, not sure what to expect as I had 2 naughtyish meals (could have been worse!!) but have been good otherwise and had 5 syns per day all the other days. I've also been doing my exercise too!!

I'm having a grren day today but will admit to having a naughty tea after WI.....I always do but will be back straight on the plan in the morning like a good girl lol!

    Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), grapes
Lunch - salad, HM coleslaw (1), olives (1), fat free dressing, Baby jacket spuds, jelly (0.5), yogurt, mixed berries.................Blimey that sounds like a lot! Mostly superfrees though!
Tea - HM pizza (HEA), SW chips. I'd normally count atleast part of the base as a HEB but this time its a white base not wholemeal as I had some dough left in the freezer from making pizzas for an xmas party!
    Snacks - apple, pear.
