Morning all.
I really need to check in a bit more.
Anyway, brand new week! Back to school tomoz, canny wait to get back into a normal routine!
I'm having an EE day today, going to make burgers and chips for tea :drool:0 -
Woo did my at home WI and I've lost 2.5lbs this week (well 5 days actually as I WI'd last Weds after xmas!) :j. Pleased with that
Does anyone here drink green tea? If so does it 'aid' weight loss in anyway? Or are there any other benefits to drinking it? I was given a free box recently, and I hate tea normally (I'm a coffee gal) but I tried it and it was just about tolerable to drink. So wondered if there was a benefit to one or 2 cups a day.

Wow MrsM that's an amazing weightloss in that time, may I ask what how much more you have to loose?
I want to loose 6 more stone but ultimately 7 depending on what I look like when I get to 6, I have a big bum and thighs, the big bum comes from me caribbean nan lol so don't think it's going to completely shrink, so dont want to end up looking like this skinny minnie with a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge batty! :rotfl:0 -
Very helpful thanks so much! :beer:Will have a green day this week and use it as my 2nd HEB
Odd tho... Does Ricotta have fibre in it??? I thought it was just cream cheese! Figured it would be HEA if anything!? [
Soft cheese does contain enough calcium to count as a HEA on any plan - it is only a HEB on green or the protein content
On red and EE you get protein in meat and fish so SW make you use your HEB for fibre rather than potentially more protein0 -

I understand what you're saying re the ricotta as a HEB for protein on the green plan, but if it can be counted as a HEA on any plan, why is it not listed? I like soft cheese and would use it as a HEA if I could!A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit!:rotfl:
Joined SW 13/9/10 - wanted to lose 56lb and lost 26lb! Rejoined on 9/1/12 having gained 17lb of my loss!!!
Want to lose 50lb. 50 - 8.5 = 41.5 to go!0 -

I have no idea what to have for my tea tomorrow - and this is where I am after your help ? I would be very grateful if you could all share a day's menu be it green/red or extra easy.
I need some inspiration to help me get back on track and would be interested to see what plans you all follow so I can nab some ideas !
Thank you in advance and Happy New Year everyone :j:D:j
Hiya Eric
I find it easier to follow EE
I usually start the day with a 'grab' from the fruit bowl, around mid morning i eat an Alpen Lite bar
L- usually something with beetroot,LOVE the stuff! so its either a JP with cheese (A) and beetroot,or egg and bacon salad with beetroot
D - I make this wonderful chicken,pasta and passata
brown off the chicken in Fry-Lite,with garlic and onion
Cook some pasta,as its going to be covered in sauce i use brown pasta, the kids can't tell then!
if you've no veg cooked already, throw some veg in with your pasta
make up a veg/chicken stock cube
throw it all together,my hubby likes a big splash of chilli paste in his
then eat it with a spoon from a bowl, yummy and FAST!
pudding is usually Muller or more fruit and watching tv i have my 2nd Alpen Lite (B)
now this is no syns day,as i have hot water and no tea,but you could 'buy' milk for tea or drink NAS juice? and then you can have a creme egg for (8) syns!0
