thank you I forgot about FF I'll check it out

Have stuck at it today, only a small handful of grapes and milk from HeA used for a cup of tea this evening after dinner and I'm done for the day, ate a loss less fruit than yesterday (I did eat a LOT). Am planning to throw some sad looking vegetables together into a soup tomorrow for lunches this week :)
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

Thank you for the new thread Consultant31 :D:j:D and Mrs M, many congratulations :D _party_ :D _party_ Well done you :j:beer::j

I have stayed away from my scales at home so I don't know what to expect at weigh in on Tuesday but having munched and drunk everything in sight/everything I have fancied, I know for certain that I won't be seeing a loss when I get on the sw scales. :rotfl:

I go back to work on Tuesday and that was going to be the day that I got back on plan but I have decided that it will be from tomorrow.

I suffer from "if its there, I eat it" so even if I don't want it - I can't resist the temptation to munch it so with my last day off, I'm going to use up the butternut squashes I have in my fridge along with the carrots that have just about had it, ditto the parsnips and make a soup. That will do for my lunches this week.

I have no idea what to have for my tea tomorrow - and this is where I am after your help ? I would be very grateful if you could all share a day's menu be it green/red or extra easy.

I need some inspiration to help me get back on track and would be interested to see what plans you all follow so I can nab some ideas !

Thank you in advance and Happy New Year everyone :j:D:j
  • Thank you all for your kindness. I really do appreciate it. However, in a lofty way I shall ignore the little snipe from a certain person who shall not be named :p

It was a fond and loving little snipe though, Consultant ;)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

I have an up to date book and 85g of Ricotta is listed as a Healthy B on Green but isn't listed on Extra Easy or Red so would be have to be synned on those plans. Hope this helps?

Very helpful thanks so much! :beer:Will have a green day this week and use it as my 2nd HEB :D
Odd tho... Does Ricotta have fibre in it??? I thought it was just cream cheese! Figured it would be HEA if anything!?
I got some great bargains today. blueberries/leeks/pears/mixed peppers all for 29p on YS in Tesco, and carrots for 25p/onions 39p in Lidl :) I've made leek&potato soup for a very late lunch, just had bowlful now! I have about 6 portions left over.

Ooh I love Lidl! I always try to do al my fruit and veg shopping there. They were doing a massive bag of baby potatoes for 36p recently!!

Forgot to say WELL DONE MrsM on a FAB loss!!!! :T Hope you are V proud - you are an inspiration to us all!!

Went slightly over syns today - went out for dinner to a friends house and had no idea what she was cooking so couldn't plan ahead - turned out to be beef stew but I had some creamy dauphenoise pots, a glass of wine and some after dinner mint chocs - in the end it only added up to 18.5 tho so not bad at all.

WELL DONE MRSM - 100LBS IS AWESOME!!!
And a big thankyou to Consultant for our new thread!
As I said in the last thread, I only gained 1lb, ove Christmas and am quite pleased with that! We had a day out today, and went to the opening of a photography exhibition in Richmond - it was fab. On the way home we stopped off at a posh pub for lunch (hubbie had a bonus from his boss that he could take me out for a meal with £60 on expenses!!). We had a starter and a main, and I chose the healthiest options I could see and it was lovely. HAven't felt hungry since so maybe not too damaging! The puds looked fab but deadly!
I can't believe we only have one day left before we are back at work - it has gone so quickly! I could happily not work, but that's just a pipe dream.... a) we can't afford it, and b) I'm sure I would get bored quite quickly!!
I am back at the gym tomorrow with my 'no excuses' mantra.
This year it is my big 5-0, so am aiming to lose 3 stones by August. We are going on the Hurtigruten Norwegian cruise in March as my birthday trip, so would like 1 1/2 off by then. I planned to do this when I was approaching 40, and didn't, so ...... no excuses!
Must see if I can change my user name!!

Me too! But the most recent book says (For green plan)
Choose twice from the healthy extra "a" section (on p21)
and twice from an extended Healthy extra "b" section (on pages 22-25 and the green list (which is headed Healthy Extra "B" choices) on pages 29-31) it appears on p31 so for some reason known only to SW, it appears to become a HEB!
