Does anyone know if I can edit the title and get it right before I have to cut my throat?

Anyone see any good offers on quorn recently?

Do you have a Farmfoods nearby? The quorn stuff is always cheap there

  • Thank you Consultant31 for starting a shiny new thread!!

Mrs M - you are an inspiration to us all!! Your loss has been AM-A-ZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! with extra ZING! :T

My food plan for the week is all drawn up and ready to go! 2day is a write off (Domino's pizza :o) but 2mro is another day!!

Sooo 2mro is gonna look a bit like this:

    B - 28g Shreddies (+1 w/g CB with nutella- HEB+1.5) Milk (hea) and banana

L - ham, cheese (hea2) and salad sarnie using 2 slices of WW Danish (heb2) (2syns for clover light spread) packet of WW cheese puffs (4.5)

D - 1 slice WW brown Danish (rest of HeB 2) with bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms

Snacks - satsuma, apple, 5 mint matchsticks (5syns)

    Syns = 13

I've decided to reintroduce bread to my diet (after not eating any for 8 months) as I am constantly hungry during the colder months... trying to cut it out in November/December resulted me to eating crap after having only having 28g of cereal for breakfast. Hovis wholemeal causes tummy probs but the WW stuff seems ok so i'm gonna see how i go!

As i am out with the girls on Saturday (flexi synning after 6 days of starting over!) I am gonna have a Tae Bo sesh in the morning and then my evening TGIs should be burned off by 4 hours of dancing in the nightclub!
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

Well so far it looks as if I'm going to get out of the housework...

    alpen light bar (3)
    vege soup
tin of spaghetti, with cheese added (a)
    roast chicken (b)
mash (I'll count 1 cos I think they mash it with milk)
    mmm braised red cabbage (1)
    gravy - 3?
    wine - (6)
    fruit salad
    fibre plus (b)
    Brews - (a)

Cripes its a good job I checked it now - 14 syns, and no cleaning to be done unless I fall off between now and bedtime :rotfl:

edit: wait wait wait! milk in mash can be part of a healthy extra, I've only had 2 cups of tea and mum makes it with naff all milk in. Ha, 13 syns!

Oh, and dontknowanymore do you meal plan? Although I dislike meal planning, doing it and shopping to fit the meal plan (plus a bit of flexibility for a few whoopsied goodies) really kept the cost of SW down. Have cereal for brekkie and maybe a snack, that keeps the cost down, and buy the cereal from aldi or the cheapest brand possible, I promise you do get used to it. Also look up the syns of the smart price/basics/value range equivalents - when I managed a week feeding myself on £7, Sainsburys basic pasta & sauce was something like 28p and 2 syns - so worth the two syns in my book.

Tinned vegetables can be cheaper than fresh, and frozen can be good value too.
