I now weigh heavier than ever before, I have no clothes that fit comfortably (except pj's) and recently broken a zip in my best jeans and another pair of trousers have ripped because they were so tight! How shameful is that!!!
I refuse to buy a size 22, as I may "grow" in into them too, so hopefully this will spur me on a bit!
I will be 50 next year, and have spent all of my 40's weighing more than 10 stone........so hopefully I will be slim by the time I hit my 50's and will have met the man of my dreams.... might as well throw a lottery win as well........ as you can see Im not hoping for much!!!:rotfl:
Welcome aboard, I was about half a stone away from being a size 22, before I decided to do something about it, being 5ft nothing too, god I must look HUGE!
Hey, you got to be in it to win it birdie! I have about 100lb to loose, and MrsM has lost that so come on we CAN do it!:j0 -

It's good to know that there are plenty of shorties on here - I'm 5ft 0 as well!A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit!:rotfl:
Joined SW 13/9/10 - wanted to lose 56lb and lost 26lb! Rejoined on 9/1/12 having gained 17lb of my loss!!!
Want to lose 50lb. 50 - 8.5 = 41.5 to go!0 -
flutterbyuk25 - have you tried drinking decaf coffee, this could help you cut down on the cafine intake, if you can't give up the caffine completely, you could try mixing half a teaspoon of decaf and half normal, there's no taste difference and you're cutting your intake down by a half!
Ah I just can't do decaff coffee! It's just wrong! :rotfl: I'd rather go without. I can taste the difference in it, even when I've tried the same brand as I normally drink.Dontknowanymore wrote: »Thanks for that MrsM, gosh 7 stone you must look like a completely different person!
MrsM - do you have any before and after pics you'd care to share? feel free to say no though! I want to lose about 6stone, my start weight was a bit more than yours, but I'm a tad taller at 6ft! :rotfl:

first day back on plan in ages and I *think* I'm doing ok. its kind of worked out that its an extra easy day - here is what I have had/what I have planned.
Breakfast was more like lunch as I made the most of my last day at home before work tomorrow and had a nice long lie in
So lunch - 3 jacket spuds served with roasted butternut squash and roasted pepper. 1 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce 1.5 syns plus 28g of Red Leicester (HEA)
Tea - I'm planning on doing chicken breast fillets wrapped in smoky bacon medalions. I'm going to serve this with some slimming world chips and to save time, I shall probably serve this with the veg mix I have in my freezer - so broccoli/carrot/cauliflower n peas.
I've also had 100ml of Tropicana Ruby Breakfast - I can't find the syns for this but the normal Tropicana OJ is 2 syns for 100ml so thats what I will count it as. I mixed it with some diet 7up and it was really yummy and is a good way to enjoy my tropicana without using too many syns up because 100ml is gone in a couple of mouthfuls - add it to a glass of diet 7up and it lasts for ages
Allow 1.5 syns for a dash of milk in my tea this morning and I've used up 5 syns so far which means If I fancy it, I can have a meringue nest (2.5syns) for pudding tonight mixed with some greek 0% yogurt (free) and some frozen fruit0 -
I understand what you're saying re the ricotta as a HEB for protein on the green plan, but if it can be counted as a HEA on any plan, why is it not listed? I like soft cheese and would use it as a HEA if I could!
it is not a HEA at all only a HEB on green - just like phillie
I missed out the "not" - sorry for the confusion0 -

Welcome! You can just turn up! The consultant should be there to welcome you and there will probably be a new member table set up. I think my consultant is planning on devoting the whole of our session this week to new members as post xmas there are a lot of new people.
Membership to SW I believe is around £10, and you pay £4.95 a week so it will cost you £15 ish for your first session. However like others have said there are a few deals in magazines at the moment but I can't remember which ones. I think these will get you £5 off membership.
Thanks for the info! Right then, i'm all set and ready for thursdayThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
