I'm a Biggest Loser addict - at one time last year I was watching the US, Australia and Uk versions - OH calls it my 'fat !!!!!!'..... how rude.
The US version only started last week on Living and UK starts tomorrow night on ITV - I think it's the first time it's been on a main channel. I do find it inspirational as someone else said - no matter their size, they all exercise. I find Jillian scary too.... I would much prefer Bob! ( ot Baarb)!

I lurvveee Bob..:smileyhea he has one of those really lovely soft voices. I'm glad i've found more Biggest Loser addicts, no one in my "real" life watches it. I really liked Shay last season and can't wait to see her at the end of this season when they bring her back as they offered her more cash to carry on losing in the real world.

I know some ladies who call class "chub club" makes me chuckle.

Good luck with your meeting tonight BettyB, i would turn up just a bit earlier as i find that the new members talk always start a little earlier than class.

I've had my first weigh in this morning and i've lost 4lbs - so i'm happy with that for a first week. :T

Must be better this week though.. i had a few slip ups over the weekend!!

Hope you all have a tremendous day..

  • Hi All,

    Menu for today

B - Weetabix (HexB) and Milk (HexA) with 1/2 banana
L - HM Pasta chicken and broccolli bake (6 syns), Apple
    D - HM Stew
Snack - Muller light and fruit

Quick question and probably a very stupid one - so we're allowed between 5-15 syns a day. There's a big difference between the 2. Should I be aiming to eat all 15 or closer to 5??

I have just recieved a set of vouchers from work (same programme as GP referrals) does anyone know if I can use these at any class, the vouchers were issued in a city pct, but could I use in another PCT's area?

Also once I have joined a class can I attend any sw session, I work shifts and it would be almost impossible to attend the same class more than a couple of times in the 12weeks of vouchers I have

    thanks

Some people start off having closer to 15, so when they get closer to target and the losses generally start to slow then they can cut back on something. Personally I just see how I feel. I don't aim to eat 15 syns, so try and get my main meals to come in around the 5-10 mark meaning I have extra syns to play with if I fancy a treat. I won't eat syns just for the sake of eating them though.

I try and go syn-free, then if I fancy something I can have it and not worry too much. I have Wednesday nights off but for the majority of the time I don't like eating unhealthy foods whether the plan says I'm allowed to or not.

Me too - I'd forgotten about Shay - how pretty she was!
We used to call it fat class when I went to the classes - online it has the dignity of no names!

Started the day with SW quiche and an apple and have soup and pasta salad for lunch - can you see my halo shining in the sun?:A
I'm at the gym from work so will have lamb and veg when I get in....
Today is the first day of the rest of my life......:j

Not that there is any sun - I can hear the rain beating down as I write this!
NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........

No idea about where you can use the vouchers, but I'm pretty sure that you can get weighed at any class. Do mention it to the consultant that you are a shift worker though.

At a group I used to go to, a lady came once who appearing at out local theatre. she had lost loads of weight and she just went to class at whichever town she happened to be in.
