'Shuffles into room with head hung low'
Hi all, some of you may remember me from my time here last year. I did really well, loved going to group and had a really supportive consultant. That coupled with the support, hints, tips, ideas and laughs on here helped me along my way.
Anyways..... a change of consultant, to one I'm not keen on ( I'm sure he's a lovely fella but something just doesn't seem to click) a relaxing in my attitude, stopping going to group and a very over indulgent Christmas has seen me have a substantial gain. I really need to get back on track and today is day 1. I'm trying to read through the thread ( got to page 7 so far) and am pleased to see some familiar faces still here.
Just wanted to re-introduce myself and state my intentions in black and white in the hope that that will help me make it happen!
Looking forward to catching up with you all................... Oooo first job I need to do is change my signature.

    Signature done!

    Good afternoon all...

Well done on the losses everyone :T
Blackberry -"whit woo" you look great and I can only see *bumps* where they are supposed to be...:p

I have always called slimming clubs "fat farms" :rotfl:

Im having an odd day today -I have been soooo busy fettling (just taking a break to do this before I get back to it) .... that I have had 2 apples and 1 cuppa so far  -although I don't actually feel hungry yet so never mind eh!!!!

Any hoo continuing on from was confuddled day I have decided to go green today even though Im having Spanish rice with chicken n chorizo for dinner tonight :p -which on EE would be a tiny 2.5syns -well on green and synning the chicken/chorizo it comes out at 8syns -BUT it is better value as I still get my 2A+Bs -Im nowt if not inventive ;)

So then my green day will look like this:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 2 apples
    • activia (2.5)
    • grapefruit
    • Spanish rice with chicken + chorizo (8)
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • tropical fruit
    • fibre plus bar (B)
    • activia (2.5)
    • orange
    • apple
now that uses 2A+1B and 13syns -so I will still need to use up another (B)
I have to say that I am soooo looking forward to dinner -it is one of my faves, almost rissotto like as its lovely n creamy :hello:....
Right I had better get back to my fettling -hopefully it will burn some cals...
Hope everyone haas got off to a good start this week!!

  • Afternoon peoples, hope everyone is doing well, hello to all the newcomers :hello:
I've not been on much, think I feel guilty because I find it hard to get into the chat of the thread, so dont want people thinking I'm an unsociable ole bint!

Anyway, I had a small wobble yesterday, Sundays are always my hardest day, nothing too serious, well I stuck to plan all day but went over my syns by abut 15 in the evening! So am going to limit my synage to a top maximum of 10 for the rest of the week, not that I usually manage more anyway.

I'm so loving the fact that my clothes are getting loose aboot this hoose!!!!!!!! :j

I'm taking DS1 for his first lot of swimming lessons tonight, 4.30pm, wont be home until about 5.30pm probably even later due to traffic, so I am having a morrissons ready meal for dinner, tomato and basil chicken with roasties, only 4.5syns.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who had issues with that program!

One of my favourite programs to watch is Biggest Loser (USA version already started, Uk one starts this week with the lovely Davina McCall) and i love the attitudes of the people on there. They are big (a guy on the USA one is 526lbs) but it doesn't stop any of them from exercising and taking control of their lives, and i for one admire them for that and I'm very motivated by it. I love to see them at the end of the series, it's just amazing what they achieve.

It's even motivated me to try and start doing The Shred this week  I bought it for my OH last year (how kind am i:rotfl:) Must say though Jillian Michaels scared the bejeez outta me!

I love the Biggest Loser USA , am currently watching the latest series on Sky.

The Biggest Loser Uk starts on ITV1 at 9pm tonight,it's hosted by Davina and I can't wait:j

Well my day is looking EE.

    Lunch

Chicken casserole (2 syns)....looked like stew when I got it out the freezer :rotfl:

    Dinner

Roast with lots of veg. Dry roasted potatoes so only 2 syns for the gravy.

    Snacks

    Weetabix oaty bar (HEB)
I might push the boat out and have 25g of my milkybar polar bear for 7 syns.

I plan on being vey good and getting the scales out this evening. I'm going to break all my solid chocolate up and make some little 7 syn cling filmed packages of 25g so I can portion control a little better. I'm sure it's going to look like a really pathetic amount of chocolate haha.
