I've started the SW diet this year and even after just one week I'm seeing the benefits.

Making lunch for work is the only downer, time-wise, but it is cheaper than what I used to buy and most certainly healthier.

I'm looking forward to a slimmer healthier me in what seems like the ideal diet.

Well, tonight will be my first WI . I'm hoping I'll have lost something. I am quite nervous. I think I might have lost something but I'm not sure. I have noticed that I've been waking up in the night to go to the loo - I noticed someone else mentioned this and I'm glad because I was thinking it was a bit strange lol.

I must say I am enjoying SW, although I really need to get a good bank of recipes organised otherwise I will fall off the wagon. I reckon if I can plan a week of family dinners for a week at a time, that will help a lot. I'll have to find somewhere cheaper than Asda for fruit too, it's costing me a fortune for my fruit salad! :rotfl:

Anyway, I will let you know how I get on tonight.

B - 2 Quorn sausages, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, 1 rasher lean bacon, beans.

    L - fruit salad

D - probably beef casserole, baked tater, broccoli

Syns - Nescafe mocha - 4.5, packet sunbites - 6 (not worth it!)

    Have a good day :)

Hi all, blimey you lot can't half talk!!!!

I also call class fat club.......it seems to make it a bit light hearted.....especially when talking to other people who don't think I need to lose wieght now I'm close to target!

I didn't have the greatest weekend ever. We had a meal out on Fri and I'd saved syns for that but then yesterday was OH's dad's 65th Birthday. There was a really nice buffet and I mainly stuck to the SW friendly stuff but I did allow myself a small piece of a few things that looked really tasty and I had a small piece of pudding too. I'm hoping if I stick to 5 syns per day till WI on wed night then I'll be ok. i'm going to get exercising too so that should help!

Today I think I'll call green so I can have more milk for my cups of tea!

    Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), grapes
Lunch - Pasta salad, HM coleslaw, half a hardboiled egg. I'm counting 3 syns for the pasta and coleslaw as most of the dressing was yogurt but I did add a teeny bit of mayo too!
Snack - yogurt, mixed berries, apple
Tea - Pork (HEB), potatoes, lots of veggies, gravy (2)

Normally I'd have stuffing with the tea but as I've had treats over the weekend I'm going to give it a miss! I'd also usually have quite a big portion of potato but tonight I'm only going to have a little bit and extra veg.

I'll be doing an exercise DVD tonight and then I'll be finishing off making my wedding invitations. I want to get them done and ready to deliver tonight, I'm soooooo please with them, I don't think of myself as being particularly crafty but I think they look fab!!!
  • MRSMCAWBER i love the way you look at alternative days to see which works out better that is something i shall have to try and do.

Do you have the recipe/ link please for your Spanish rice with chicken + chorizo. That sounds lovely and i have a little chorizo in the fridge.

I've taken big steps into drinking as much water as possible - it's liquid gold people, never forget that - and find myself peeing like a racehorse... It's vital though, I find I lose so much more when I've been drinking a lot of water. 4 litres today already which will slow down as I find it far easier to drink it at work. 6 litres a day is about my average.

Also I find myself feeling the cold a lot more - I miss my insulation :D

Right, I made a decision to post today as I need to get focussed and I think you guys might help :D

I am a lady on a mission, I turn 30 this month and I promised myself I would not be a fat 30 something. I started SW in October and have lost 17lbs in that time and gone down a dress size which I'm pleased about.

Last week saw me STS on the scales which I was quite disappointed with as I have been putting 100% in since Christmas, I'm 5lbs off my club 10 and ideally wanted to reach that before the end of the month.

Anyway meal plan for today EE
B - muller light, apple, clementine
    L - mugshot, snack-a-jacks, 1/4 cucumber, grapes (3)
T - chicken fried rice, peas,(4) sweetcorn, spring onions. Melon, strawberries and yogurt with Options white chocolate sachet (2)

snacks- cheese (a) and celery, fibreplus bar (b) Total 9 syns.

I plan on doing 1 hour free-stepping on my Wii fit whilst watching the Biggest Loser.

Thanks for reading, well done to all the losers. Hope everyone has a nice day
