Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why Extra Easy is the plan being mainly promoted and discussed at meetings? The new booklet being promoted to buy (free to new joining members though) gives only the lowest syn rating on recipes for either Green/Original or the Extra Easy syn rating, but not all 3. Are they intending to phase out original/green? Since joining I've not really been encouraged to do the red/green days, and have stuck with Extra Easy because that's been the only plan I've heard being discussed. It's only as time has gone on, and I've become more familiar with plans, and looking at member's food plans on here, that I've felt more confident to try a red or green day, but I'm still not really au fait with the do's/don'ts, apart from knowing to syn/heb meat on a green day.

I think it's because EE is the most like the way 'normal' people eat. That sounds odd but I hope you know what I mean. I'm not suggesting we're not normal here, but I imagine most of us can eat "three potatoes more than a pig " as my MIL used to say :rotfl:and whichever way you cut it, that's not really normal.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

arrghhhhhh still getting used to sins and had a small cadburys fudge bar06 syns! tell me i'm not the only one who takes time to get used to it!

No it takes a while, don't worry it'll come.

You could try popping your fudge bar into the freezer for a couple of hours before you get eat it. It takes longer to eat that way (and is worth the syns IMO) :)

I dunno, wouldn't it? I don't think it'd be that far off? And remember if its a creamy curry and you do it with fromage frais or quark those are superfree foods too :T or maybe make some onion bhajis the SW way, that'd be superfree food plus a couple of syns?
No I'm not :o :rotfl: It just makes logical sense to me, since superfree surely equals food which is free on both plans.. and therefore includes marmite and the likes of eggs and quorn, too?

Superspeed is often thought to be only fruit and veg.

I dunno. My brain ran away and joined the circus quite some time ago :rotfl:

Lisa26 is right, quark and fromage frais are not superfree, I leapt up and checked my book. They are free, the actual Superfrees are listed on pages 11-13 of the handbook and are fruits and vegetables. The free Foods are listed on pages 14-20 are are the dairy stuff as above, eggs, pulses, meats etc, then the Storecupboard Staples which includes stocks, flavourings, sweeteners and dressings. Sorry to disappoint! Still, at least I had a bit of body magic leaping to my feet like that and squawking "no they're not superfree!":rotfl:
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
