Evening all. Thank crunchie it's Friday huh? It seems to have been a jolly long week for us, I don't know about you lot.

I'm sat here feeling full still from my evening meal, and panicking that I've maybe eaten too big a portions the last couple of days. I know that's not meant to really be the case as such on SW, but you might know what I mean.

Anyhoo, I decided that yesterday's dinner was so nice, that I'd have more of the same today.

    Food Plan - Green

    B - Porridge (HeB 1), sweetener, water/milk (from HeA 1), banana & cinnamon
L - Mugshot chicken, Melted Fibre+ bar, quark mixed with 2 tsp of low fat instant hot choc (like options) (2 syns) = yummy!
D - Mahoosive jacket potato, 2 x quorn sausage, 42g low fat cheese, 1 tsp clover light (1 syn), baked beans, salad cream (2 syns)
    Snack - banana

I couldn't eat all my jacket spud, but it was a proper whopper of a size. I still feel like my dinner is wedged in my chest actually. It also feels weird to not be constantly trying to ensure 1/3 of every meal is fruit/veg too, and what a treat 42g of cheese is 7 soooo gorgeous melted in my spud. Quite liberating really.

Happy birthday for tomorrow Betty. Someone told me last month that birthday's are completely syn free anyway, so don't worry.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

    255g/9oz green beans
    4 cooked beetroot
    125g bag mixed salad leaves

I've been lurking but the first week back at work has been mad!
Just an add on to the curry discussion - I often chop an apple or 2 into a spicy chicken curry to bump up the superfree part.
Dizzy - you had me searching the online sw site after the peas are not free bombshell...... I should have just read the next post! lol
I have managed to go to the gym twice this week, and my guy at the gym isn't taking any prisoners!
My eating has been a bit to pot which has p'd me off as I was so controlled over Christmas. I know it is only me that I am hurting by not following plan so need to give myself a kick up the jacksie.... anyone else please feel free to send me a kick too!
Catching up on the thread has been good as it has given me some inspiration to up my superfrees.
Tonight I made a SW smoked salmon carbonara - it was yummy! I had an orange and a big bowl of peach slices in their own juice to make up the super free.....
It is nice to see that people are getting back on the wagon, and all the newbies sound really positive so that is contagious! Thanks!
    Hey ho!

Probably stirring up the old argument but..... do you cook the apple in the curry as that would add syns and the peaches, were they tinned as those are syn'd too or can be HEb. This subject has caused 'discussions' before, cooked/tinned fruit having to be syn'd doesn't seem right when the raw state is free BUT before anyone says I do know WHY they're syn'd just don't agree with it if only eating a bit at a time.

Hiya TakeitEazy - did you have 3 b's or am I misreading it? I wish I could eat carrot sticks to add variation but I just can't stomach raw veg. I always wished I ate celery too although it could just be the dips I'm jealous of, lol.
    C xx

YES I did have 3 b's :D before christmas I was attempting to have 3 of each HEs to try to maintain target as was still losing weight. As am still under target [just] I'm still going for 3 b's at least twice a week when I'm on lunch duty as its easier to eat rolls on the go :o.
