The free Foods are listed on pages 14-20 are are the dairy stuff as above, eggs, pulses, meats etc, then the Storecupboard Staples which includes stocks, flavourings, sweeteners and dressings. Sorry to disappoint! Still, at least I had a bit of body magic leaping to my feet like that and squawking "no they're not superfree!":rotfl:
Sorry if I only seem to come out of lurkdom to argue. I read the thread regularly but post mainly when I don't understand something.
I think there's some confusion on terms: I think SW calls them free foods then speed and superspeed foods. I think superfree is a term that's just used in group (a much better term IMO).
Speed foods and Super speed foods are not only some fruits and vegetables but also some lean meats and fish. So on, for example Page 14 of free food vegetables, mushy peas are also super speed foods (SS) as well as being free. So a meal of cod, mushy peas and SW chips (assuming equal proportions) would be two thirds superspeed and one third free.0 -

Free foods are the lean meat & poultry, fish & seafood, potatoes, pulses and starchy vegetables, rice pasta & grains, eggs, fat free dairy products, vegetable proteins eg Quorn & tofu
Speed & superspeed are terms used to describe foods that SW have listed which claim to speed or super-speed weight loss when chosen regularly.
So a food listed as superfree can also be a speed or super-speed food - and then of course you get into calcium, fibre and nutrition rich foods!! So, for example, baked beans in tomato sauce are a free food, which is nutrition rich (H), help super-speed weight loss (SS) and are fibre rich (F)!:eek:A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit!:rotfl:

I had two mugshots for lunch today (2 hours apart though) as I was having a real munchie day! And I was still starving by the time I got home - luckily OH was in the middle of cooking it otherwise I would have reached for the BAD stuff - & sadly I've still got a lot of the Xmas treats in the house.
Anyone got a tasty, pasta salad or similar recipe - am trying to find things for work lunches that I can make a big bowl of on a weekend.

Hi everyone,
Been back to class this week - first WI since 10 Nov, since then I have been on an all inclusive hol to egypt, had xmas wit all the parties etc so was dreading the Wi, although some may remember that I said I would take the sensible choices as much as I could (but not sure I always did) and would be grateful if I didn't gain through this time, none the less I was still dreading going back, but I am really pleased I have lost 21/2 lb throughout this time so now back on plan and will be menu planning tomorrow. Need to lose around another 2 stone, would like to do it by May.
Best wishes to all of you I have only just skimmed this thread as it is less than a week old and already huge. Hope xmas was kind to you all and 2011 will bring all you can hope for.Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -

I do tend to use packet mixes but I bulk cook so with all the veg etc I can make about 10 meals from 1 pk mince so works out about 2 syns. (I also put in tomato sauce and brown sauce)
Schwartz slow Cookers Beef & Tomato Casserole Mix, dried, 40g sachet 6
Schwarts slow Cookers, Chicken Curry Recipe Mix, dried, 33g sachet 4½
Schwarts Slow Cookers, Chicken in Red Wine Recipe Mix, dried, 35g sachet 6
Schwarts Slow Cookers, Sausage & Bean Casserole Mix, dried, 35g sachet 5½
I don't feel like I am doing very well this week I cant seem to eat much dont know if its the tablets I am on. I had to have a bar of the kids choc last night as I only had 1 syn normaly I run out of syns. Oh well will try to eat more today.
