Well done on the losses peeps :T onwards and downwards
I finally got my slow cook today was a bit more expensive than before cos of the VAT increase  but still cheap for the size [6.2L].
Also found a shop that sells 100/150g bags of herbs/spices so got some caraway seeds, cumin, & paprika for just over £3. They were on offer but didn't seem to expensive normal price and these bags will last me months :rotfl:just need to get some resealable bags or containers to put them in.
Have found a goulash recipe which can be adapted to SW i.e. swap the cooking oil for spray or just dry fry, just syns for a bit of flour but between 3 wouldn't be very much.
What would you serve goulash with? As theres potato in it I'm not sure what too have it with.
Also have my eye on a slow cook book for £4.
So far today I have had:
B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - noodles, pasta, beans
T - not sure yet
Snacks - pineapple, melon, meringue [3], onken
Syns - 3 so far
Not holding out much hope for WI as had chinese on Thursday, be happy with a STS, fingers crossed. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

OK - I was on my way to bed.... now I'm obsessing about the rules!!
You can have canned vegetables but not canned fruit? Hey ho. I'm learning ALL the time!
Must go to bed now!
x
I knew this would start somethingI had this conversation months back where I had bought tinned pineapple in juice then found it had syns but I could eat fresh pineapple with juice, free.
Now if I remember right it has something to do with being slightly cooked during the canning process and as we know cooked fruit is syn'd. Where as veg can be cooked and still be free so canned veg is fine. Bonkers if you ask me BUT sw knows best :rotfl:Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I agree - that is just how I feel.
Thanks TeeCee for the post about superfree, and speed foods. It is all up in my head but I think I fudge it a bit when I want to!
I think I need to go back to basics - I have not been having enough superfrees to EE so will try a few red and green days. I am also going to go back to writing everything down, and menu planning for a while!
I am having lamb tagine and couscous for tea.... no mix ups there! DH is out for the evening so I am going to cook some soup for next week and maybe a SW quiche! Plus a pasta salad to go in the fridge for snacking!
Have a good weekend everyone!

Well my first EE day is going surprisingly well!
Brunch - bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomato & baked beans
Dinner - hubby currently cooking a Thai Red Curry from the little book that came with the lastest magazine (2 syns) with dried noodles
HEb will come in the shape of a Fibre Plus bar with another cuppa before bed.
Drinks - diet lemondade, tea (with HEa ss milk), fruit tea in Costa while hubby had a skinny caramel latte :A, 2 or 3 glasses of Weight Watchers Rose wine (8 or 12)
Didn't have any syns yesterday so I don't mind going up to a max of 15 today.
Hope you're all doing well.

Hello all!
see, I prefer EE because it forces me to have lots of fruit and vegetables which (I think) is a healthy way to eat. I've occasionally tried Red and Green (and I tried SW when it was just Red and Green) and I get very confused. Mind, it doesn't take much to confuse me!:p
Got a knee length black stretchy straight skirt (straight! me!??!?!?) from Next only £20, and realised it cried out for a very fitted top and managed to get one for FIVE POUNDS in New Look, kind of smudgy colours, low front, 3/4 sleeves - the two items show off my bosom and waist very nicely without accentuating the slightly jiggly size 12 bottom bits too much**. I'm very very pleased but really ought not to have worn a polo neck sweater to go trying on clothes, boy was it a faff pulling it on and off! All calorie burning though I suppose. I hope to have a photo taken in the new outfit in a couple of weeks when it's my birthday, and I will chop off the head and show you on here!
**although I'm led to believe jiggly bits remain popular with people who aren't women:rotfl::jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

ee day

l - blueberries with fat free yogurt
d - beef and veg casserole (still cooking)
snacks - dark choc fingers (ate far too many and didnt count!!)
still confused over the laughing cows but have decided if i can have normal dairylea triangles then i can have normal laughing cow triangles. (by the way laughing cow big boxes of triangles are 2 for £2 in tesco)
in tesco i went to get my normal muller lights which i must admit to getting abit bored of when i saw some new ones on offer. diet irish yogurts which were 4 for £1 and very nice. they are definately free too as i checked
also got my half price blueberries from lidl which are on offer this weekend only at 74p for 125g0 -
