I joined again on Wednesday after stopping for 6 weeks. (having lost 10bs)
I am now officially the heaviest I have been for years ( I have put on a stone)
I went to The Gambia for Christmas and as it was so hot I drank pints of their weak lager all day and all night. lots and lots of it
Had a full English, toast and some fruit every day
Both me and husband have signed the pledge (he has run for 10mins every day since Tuesday, he hasn't run for 30 years until now )
I'm not a runner (don't want to give myself a black eye)
As I'm not working at the moment, I promise to come on here every day and probably bore the life out of you all with my ramblings.
Going to do EE as most of you on here seem to, so will pinch a lot of your meal ideas
Be back soon to update food diary
Breakfast was Bran flakes with ½ banana
Lunch was 2 quorn sausages, 1 tomato, 1 egg and baked beans0 -
Just out of interest - could I change this to a Green day like so:
Same syns, but 2 HEB and HEA - does that make sense?
Brekkie
2 satsumas and an apple
28g Shredded wheat bitesize and 125ml rice milk (HEB1 + 1/2 HEA1)
Pot of tea and 125ml semi skim (1/2 HEA1)
Lunch
[STRIKE]
2 egg omelette with ham, onion, mushroom and courgette 1/2 tin of baked beans
[/STRIKE]Egg, SW chips and beans (all free)
Snack
Small bit of cold pasta (leftovers) with salad/veg and a smidge of Quark
Carrot sticks
Dinner
Chicken korma:
Chicken (HEB)
total 0%, ginger, garlic, garam masala, tumeric, onion, red chilli, 6.5g creamed coconut (2 syns) 1 level tbsp ground almonds (4.5 syns) and fresh coriander
with boiled rice
1 mini onion bhaji (from Lidl - 42cals, est. 2 syns)

Fizzle....I still use the packet mixes as I just can't find a totally from scratch chilli that I like as much! I personally use the tesco own one or the old el paso when its on offer. They're not actually that many syns and when I make a chilli 1 packet does 6 portions (I add some smoked paprika too which is free) so the syns per portion are hardly any.
Thanks for the tip! I think my main issue is that I eat too big portions, but I am learning to curb that which is goodSo would be great if I could continue to eat some of the things that I love only in lesser amounts

On the topic of wii games, I find your shape to be really good. However, you do need a lot of space so that the camera can pick up your full body on screen. In 15 mins I can burn around 200 calories on different routines, and its really good for exercising your whole bodyComping Fairy bring some luck my way! :dance:Love my Fiance Spiceboy :happyhear:iloveyou:0 -
Wasn't hungry til about 20 minutes ago so just had a weetabix with milk and a nana. So only used half a B, will count one of my alpen lights later as the other half B.
Not sure what to do for lunch since i just had breakfast:o Will maybe just have fruit and yoghurt. Or will try the ravioli from Morrisons for 2 syns with a few chips.
Dinner will stay the same. Will update later on syns etc.

I'm going it alone so i'll be looking on here every 5 mins for inspiration. lol.
Well done to everyone for their losses.
I've got roughly 2st to lose so going to try and do a meal planner to help me stay on track.
Anyway happy slimming.

Morning all! First WI since Christmas and gained 2lb over the festive period. Not too bad methinks as I really didn't hold back on food or drink! Back to being good now though, so today's menu is:
B - fruit, yoghurt, oats (HEB)
L - jacket potato, beans, salad
D - poached egg, SW chips, mushrooms, tomatoes
Drinks - glass of skimmed milk (HEA)
Snacks - muller, fruit
Syns - wine (8.5)
Also, thanks for all the advice on herbs and spices, I will be hunting out the nearest ethnic food shop over the weekend.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Having said that, I add veggies to everything as a matter of course. I'm far more likely to notice that I forgot to add the carrots than if I forget to add the chicken :rotfl:
Slow cooker recipes: try scouse (stew with very lean mince, oxo cubes and potatoes and veg) or beef in ale * swoon* worth the syns for a can of guiness in my bookI reckon you could also do a scrummy fall off the bone lamb shank in there too.
Right, have pulled myself together just a little bit, after last night's feastI have gone for a superfree breakfast of a muller, nana and apple, and it'll either be an EE day or green as per usual. I'll use one healthy extra for the lurvely oil I have *hmm I have way too much lovely oil in at the moment* and the other for either a fibre plus or some ham. I fancy cous cous with ham and salad in it for lunch, so there might lie my answer
Happy slimming everyone - here's to a day ON the waggon for all
OH decided at 6.45am to take the day off today. I have my grocery shopping to do after work and there are a few specific things I want fromTesco which will be manic on a Friday tea time so I've despatched him to go get the bits from there and I'll call at morrisons instead which is on the way home and never half as busy as Tesco!
I think I'm having a green day today and I'm really looking forward to my tea!!!
Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B)
Lunch - jacket spud, beans, 1 laughing cow light (Part HEA), yogurt, mixed berries, jelly (0.5)
Tea - bacon (HEB), quorn sausages (Normal ones for OH), egg, beans, toms, mushrooms, cubed spicy potatoes.
Snacks - fruit.
I don't think quorn sausages have any syns so thats only half a syn all day so I'll have a little bit of choccy with a cuppa later. I only had 4.5 syns yesterday and I'll stick to 5ish today as we're going out for tea tomorrow and the local pub do fab chips so I will deffo be having some! I won't be drinking though as I'm at work this weekend. On Sunday OH's dad is having a birthday party and there will be a buffet. I doubth there'll be anything SW friendly other than the coleslaw I am making so better save some syns for that. I assume his mum will be making sandwiches.....she lathers them with butter/marg which I HATE diet or no diet lol!!! I never use butter or marg myself, its gross!!!
I have done my 5 days of exercis ethis week but if I wasn't going to be late home tonight due to the shopping trip I'd be keen to do another, I've really enjoyed it!0
