    Sounds good MrsM!

Just a thought, but I know someone has ressurected a SW friendly slow cooker recipe thread, is there one around here for general recipes? If not, shall we create one?

Today is a tough day for me, and I'm struggling to work out exactly what I'm going to do!

I *think* I'm going for a green day, as I'm going out to dinner where there is no superfree and I'm struggling to syn everything properly.

Lunch is definately going to be a chicken casserole (2 syns). Chicken is 1HEB with 200g rice.

Dinner I'm going out and really my best option is a chicken curry with rice. That's going to be 26.5 syns with free rice. I think there will be too much chicken to even consider counting it as another HEB and using the 14.5 syns for the sauce.

The other option for dinner would be either steak/chicken and chips but then I would have to syn the rice at lunch and also the chips which would be astronomical.

In the past when I've eaten here I've just had a day off plan and eaten what I want, but I am determined to do it properly and I WILL NOT CHEAT!

So that would be 28.5 syns for the day incl 2 HEBs, no HEAs.

Tomorrow will be a syn free day, so I will steal tomorrows syns and use them today.

Why would you have to syn the rice at lunch? Is it just boiled?

On a green day you can have as much rice as you want - it is free

The chips wouldn't be too bad on green - i think it is about 17 syns for a standard size bag from chip shop!

Wootball -I don't know if the cal count on the wii fit is accurate -I just take what it says :p, I could well be as Im doing the boxing and step so Im using more effort than I do on a treadmill ;) hubby pointed out the other day that when I kick on the boxing my foot is higher than the TV :j so hopefully its right,,,, either way Im off my backside and doing something so "every little helps" -plus-and I never thought I would say this.... butttt I actually enjoy it too

Like you said, any exercise is better than none! I didn't manage to get to the gym last night as I was late home from work, but in your honour I decided to go on EA Active on the Wii for 40 minutes, according to the game around 400 calories burned. The inline skating challenges still kill my quads

What game are you playing on the Wii?

I also feel I should point out that the font you use doesn't work on iPhones ;)

    Good Morning,

Going to try EE day today..

    170ml Semi Skimmed HE
    2 weetabix HE
    1tsp suger - 1 syn
    2 celebrations - 4 syn
canned tuna, whole wheat pasta and VLF nat yogurt for lunch
    2 apples

You get 250ml semi as an HEA. Also you don't have much superfree listed?

Sorry, if I swapped to a red day then I would have to syn the rice at lunch. Or if I stuck on green I'd have to syn the chips and the steak/chicken and dinner. I think whatever I do I'm looking at just shy of 30 syns for the day haha.

Back on plan today after yesterdays blip. Just had a coffee with milk from allowance.
Breakfast will be weetabix (B) with milk (A) and probably a banana if i'm hungry.
Lunch will be an omelette with some salad and chips

Working tonight so taking a packed lunch so i don't eat bad food!

Will take HM lentil soup, WM roll(B) with ham (1) and pickle(1/2). Will also take yoghurt, maybe an alpen light or 2 (6) and some fruit. That is both A+B and 7 1/2 syns.

I'm also now the proud new owner of an Actifry:T Made chips last night and they were so easy and yummy.

    Well done on the losses:money:

Currys can be difficult sometimes.. the tomatoes do count as superfree, along with the onion you use too but it wouldn't make it up to 1/3.

I dunno, wouldn't it? I don't think it'd be that far off? And remember if its a creamy curry and you do it with fromage frais or quark those are superfree foods too :T or maybe make some onion bhajis the SW way, that'd be superfree food plus a couple of syns?

Having said that, I add veggies to everything as a matter of course. I'm far more likely to notice that I forgot to add the carrots than if I forget to add the chicken :rotfl:

Slow cooker recipes: try scouse (stew with very lean mince, oxo cubes and potatoes and veg) or beef in ale * swoon* worth the syns for a can of guiness in my book ;) I reckon you could also do a scrummy fall off the bone lamb shank in there too.

Right, have pulled myself together just a little bit, after last night's feast :o I have gone for a superfree breakfast of a muller, nana and apple, and it'll either be an EE day or green as per usual. I'll use one healthy extra for the lurvely oil I have *hmm I have way too much lovely oil in at the moment* and the other for either a fibre plus or some ham. I fancy cous cous with ham and salad in it for lunch, so there might lie my answer :)

Happy slimming everyone - here's to a day ON the waggon for all

Yes you can syn extra milk.

Skimmed milk - 3 level tbsp is half a syn, 568ml is 9 syns. So you'll have to work out how many syns you need to use :)

Ahh well as a complete technophobe -who doesn't even have a mobile phone I wouldn't even know what an Iphone is :rotfl:(although I could perhaps guess -I wouldn't know what else it does):p

At the moment Im using the ea sport "personal trainer" and "more workouts" disc - I put a workout together that alternates between the 10min advanced step and then the target and spar boxing (on the more workouts disc)- I guess I must be giving it some welly as I use a lot more cals than it predicts :D...
I am waiting for the ea sports II to arrive -will be nice to not whip myself with the cord between the controller and nunchuck :p I have also got the platform to lift the wii board off the floor and the 1kg dumbells coming- oooh and the biggest loser 2010 - so i should be able to find something else I like to do on there somewhere :T ... I really want them to bring out a decent tennis game or a really good step disc...

Hi fellow slimmers! Congrats on all of your fab weight losses :) I have been eating healthier and exercising everday since the beginning of this week and hope to lose around 5 stone on my own. However, since starting my 'diet' the thing I miss the most is my chilli con carne that I used to make with the 'unhealthy' Coleman's packet sauces. I was hoping that somebody here may be able to provide me with a SW friendly chilli recipe? I have tried looking through previous posts etc but haven't been able to find the recipe :) Would appreciate any help.

Good luck with weigh ins tonight :)

Fizzle....I still use the packet mixes as I just can't find a totally from scratch chilli that I like as much! I personally use the tesco own one or the old el paso when its on offer. They're not actually that many syns and when I make a chilli 1 packet does 6 portions (I add some smoked paprika too which is free) so the syns per portion are hardly any.
