just seen this offer posted on another forum: bags of Quorn mince and pieces in ASDA only £1 in freezer section.

Gotta love those quorn offers ;)

Quorn southern style chicken burgers were £1 for a box of 4 in Sainsburys the other day.

so what's worrying me is only one meal (lunch) had superfrees with it; the fruit seems to be snacks and would be on top of superfrees with your meal, if you see what I mean. I could be wrong, and you could be doing it right :) don't mind me mentioning it

I was under the impression with EE that it was ok to not have superfree in your main meal, as long as you have extra for snacks? I find things like curry difficult to add SF food to, although I do wonder if the tomatoes in the sauce count?

Anyway, I've started to move toward green/red days when I know I'm going to eat a meal that I won't get a third superfree.
  • The Christmas king prawn frozen ring 270g is marked down to £2 at Asda but goes through at £1.
If you don't open the marie rose sauce it is free.
  • Why did I sabotage my day today?

Just added several chocolates, a curly wurley, a fibreplus, and 2 ritter chocolates to the syns today.

The irony? Someone suggested my chocolate cravings were actually cravings for magnesium, so I've taken some magnesium tablets today. That went well then! :o

Well I did it - 9 years to the day I first started I have joined SW for the last time! :j Was a lb off my heaviest weight ever which shocked me but onwards & downwards.

I really can't get my head around food planning at the moment as I'm so tired so an easy green day for me tomorrow to start with - egg & beans with a yoghurt for brekkie, mug shot for lunch (are these still free?), fruit I can buy at lunch to top myself up & small pork chop (haven't weighed it yet - HEb plus syns possibly) with mash (milk from HEa) and mixed frozen veg.

    C xx

*phew* Finally made it to the end of this thread. Brilliant tips and inspiration.

DH and I are going to be embarking on SW next week. I have been a long term low carber but it just isn't working for me any more so I thought I would research SW. I am off work at the moment with a chest infection so had plenty of time.

So much information around so I have been collating some of it. I am cool with the red days but green days are very foreign to me so that is the area I have concentrated on. Got lots of recipes and tips so ready on that front.

One thing I did very quickly realise is you cannot do this diet without the books. I don't have a local club and to be honest I don't have the money to sign up online. I won a 2010 starter pack on fleabay this morning so they should be with me middle of next week. Inbetween time I have borrowed some from a friend of mine so I can get it sorted in my head. Think I have got the handle on some of the terminology from reading on here.

I am looking forward to making the change to our lifestyle and joining you all in the journey.

Thanks to all the experts who pass on tips and hints. I am going to be menu planning over the next couple of days so I just might be back with questions!
