They made up a big part of my grocery delivery tonight. The quorn sausages were the same price too :D

Flutterby, MrsM & Skintslimmer, thanks for the advice re. the pasta bake. Unfortunately MrsM there was some flour in that roux too, so I'd hazard a guess at about 1.5 tbsp on top of all the other naughties! I prefer to cook from scratch, and I think if I attempted to dish up a packet mix of anything now to the family they'd all refuse to eat it. Put it this way, they won't eat lasagne cooked anywhere else, even a nice Italian restaurant, because it's 'just not like the one mummy cooks'. I will experiment with the cheese sauce MrsM suggested, and see if that will slip under the radar. I was pleased that I'd managed to get the low fat cheese past them last night as it was, so I'm halfway home. I make my own ragu style sauce anyway, which is free, so that's not a problem at all.

The rest of the day has gone according to plan, and I've not really felt like eating anything after my dinner tonight, so it's been a good day. Hope tonight's weigh in's have gone OK.

At least you know where you're starting from again now Dizzy, shame you can't wink at random blokes anymore though ;)

  • Hello everybody :)
Well as promised I got on the not so friendly friend the SCALES this morning.....11st 1lb (it might not sound alot but being 5ft 2in and a certain shape it defiantly shows !):(

L- Salad with Feta (3 syns)
    Crabsticks
    Beetroot
Shaper Mint & Choco nougat bar (4 Syns)

D- HM SW Chicken curry + FF nat yogurt

    S- 3x D.coke

If anything looks wrong please let me know the error of my ways! :) but dont think ive done to bad! T

Hello Veryvery: I would say a couple of things:

*are you drinking lots of water as well as the diet coke?
*where's the superfree in your breakfast? Maybe some tomatoes or fruit could be added, you are supposed to have at least one third superfree at each meal. See Consultant's first post on this thread for more info.
*did you cut every scrap of fat off your waferthin ham?
*were there vegetables in or with your chicken curry?

so what's worrying me is only one meal (lunch) had superfrees with it; the fruit seems to be snacks and would be on top of superfrees with your meal, if you see what I mean. I could be wrong, and you could be doing it right :) don't mind me mentioning it
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
