Hi fellow slimmers! Congrats on all of your fab weight losses
I have been eating healthier and exercising everday since the beginning of this week and hope to lose around 5 stone on my own. However, since starting my 'diet' the thing I miss the most is my chilli con carne that I used to make with the 'unhealthy' Coleman's packet sauces. I was hoping that somebody here may be able to provide me with a SW friendly chilli recipe? I have tried looking through previous posts etc but haven't been able to find the recipe
Would appreciate any help.
Good luck with weigh ins tonightComping Fairy bring some luck my way! :dance:Love my Fiance Spiceboy :happyhear:iloveyou:0 -
Afternoon all,
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas - Welcome to the New Year!
I am going to make you all sound fantastic as in the last 5 weeks i have put on an incredible 1st! (to the person who wondered why people put on 3lbs in a week - it is very easy especially when you do not follow the plan!)
But 2011 is a new year and i have my incentive to loose 3st by June 20th (mum is going to take me shopping with £200!)
So todays meal plan is EE (don't normally do this but purse strings are tight & using up freezer food!)
B - All day brekkie Quiche
S - Banana
L - Mugshot & more all day brekkie quiche
S - Plums, apple, 2 ff activia
D - Beef stew (made with swede, carrots, onion, beans (to thicken) tin tomatoes & beef bovril) with mash & cabbage
S - 2 Alpen lights (heb) 35ml baileys (5.5) Funsize malteasers (5.5)
Hea in coffee
Thought i would share that i have been thinking about you all over the xmas break but have been busy so didn't come on. I even asked my mum where were the nobbies on xmas day! No-one knew what i meant though! :rotfl:
And i would like to thank MrsM for changing my tastebuds - i now eat nobbies & cabbage and i don't have to mash them up or hide them in my mash  so much so that i had them last night with smoked cod & gravy! :rotfl:
I have also got an exercise bike in the spare room now and my brother owes me a cross trainer - hopefully will then be able to get rid of gym membership @ £34 a month - as i haven't been for about 5 weeks!
Well done to those who have been good over the xmas period & to those who didn't i hope you enjoyed it as much as me!
Promise to post again soon x0 -
Was hoping that I could still include sausages in my SW diet.. Anyne know what ones are low syn...
I always like the fancy ones you can buy from the butchers, but i can never work out the syn values so i avoid:(0 -

If you look on the slimming world website that should give you a nice recipe
If not i make mine by eye and use
Couple tins toms or passata
Onions
Garlic
ground cumin
ground coriander
chilli powder
dried chilli flakes
sometimes a bit of paprika
Cook onions & garlic till soft, add spices, add toms or passata & use either extra lean mince or quorn mince, add you kidney beans & any other veg - i normally use a tin of sliced green beans
You can season to taste - might help to put in a tsp or so of sweetner

Try searching for Joe's sausages online - i believe thier sausages are free!
Do you like quorn? I think most of the quorn sausages are free
I know a sausage shop near me sells sausages that are 1/2 each & tesco & morrisons do some for about 1/2 syn or 1 syn each but i don't normally buy 'normal' sausages anymore!0 -
