2nd day of SW but coming down with a throat infection:( so really craving tomato soup and stacks of white bread!! It's what my mum always gave me as a kid when I was poorly:o!!
Anyway, soup and bread is off limits so today is:Banana (got up late!)
L) Jacket potato, tuna with quark, 1tsp light mayo (1syn) half a plate of hm "coleslaw" quark and mayo dressing again (1syn), toms & cucumber. Nibble of watermelon skin as dd9 has eaten whole pack out of fridge and just put the skin back!! Cheeky monkey!
D) Turkey breast, mushrooms, onions, sweetcorn, tinned pineapple (2.5 syns) cooked in chicken stock and soy sauce, micro mushroom rice (3syns) poss clemantines after.
Supper) Ryvita (heb) and 2 babybel (hea) I'm a bit confused by the online food diary as for healthy extra b it gives the option of 2 ryvita or 4!! Obviously I'd rather have 4 but don't know what correct portion is!!
Does this all look ok? Am I missing out on veg for dinner?? I don't have anymore to put in so hoping it's enough!
Thanks in advance

Hi & welcome to the thread
If you go to the 1st page there is a full explanation of the EE plan. You can probably get away with using yout old books.....but many of the syn values will have changed (depending how old your books are)
you could always go along to 1 class to get all the new books, including a current food directory then just continue to do it from home (which is how some people choose to do it)
ThanksI've dug out my old books and they are from 2005, so only a bit out of date :rotfl: So I'm bidding on a SW 2011 plan on ebay and have bought the new food directory there too. I can make a start on Tuesday with a red/green day and when my books arrive really get stuck into it.

erm... why is soup off limits? Tomato soup (home made of course) is free! And yummy! and in case you are hankering for a bowl of Heinz tomato soup I am told that this (below) is a dead ringer for it and again FREE. No white bread though.
2 cans of tomatoes
1 can of carrots
1 can of baked beans
2 or three pickled onions
Blend all the above thoroughly, then heat through.
Trust me.
Hope you soon feel better. Some fresh ginger and/or chilli in your food will help your throat, too.
re your menu today, you don't really have enough superfree I feel. Sweetcorn is not superfree (unless it's baby corn, the little whole ones). I've been told the difference between the 2 and 4 ryvita but forgotten; one option is for speedier loss, 2 I expect.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Hi Everyone, been lurking for ages.
ive been on slimming world for nearly a year now and ive lost nearly 3 1/2 stone (was previously over 3 1/2 but got married in new york in december and then had xmas off). Ive got about 12 pounds to get to target and its going so sloooowwwwww at the minute. Entirely my fault. I know exactly what ive got to do to get there but ive got a kind of mental block about it all at the min. Got wi mon and would love a pound loss. ive been looking through the SW receipe thread and going to try the dyna rod soup tomorrow.
Has anyone tried the success express, think i might try it form Tuesday for a the whole week. If anything it might make me appreciate exactly what I can eat on extra easy xMarch 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000 -

Thanks Blackberry-Rum! Will definately keep that recipe for future reference! Today I just wanted soup that could be zapped in a microwave! Or better still cooked and delivered to me by my mum!!!!
Will def take on board what you said about the superfree. Running a bit short of veg and couldn't face going shopping!! Must make more effort with that tomorrow!!
Thanks for recipe and advice!!

:rotfl: If you feel it helps go ahead, it won't do any harm
The theory behind FO is well tested and most people (that's most, not necessarily all) when told they can eat as much as they like of a food like potatoes/pasta/rice, will only eat so much. The calorie count of that amount is often far less than you would imagine - especially if, like me, you eat biiiig portions.
I love the fact that after donkey's years of calorie counting my way to a slimmer figure (and even WW point counting once  .....I know I'm washing out my mouth as I type), it's been a revelation to me to be able to follow the plans as they're set out and find the weight just dropping off, week after week.
I've lost 4½ stone with SW and never counted a calorie!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Ive bought some yacky devils food......fish _pale_ plain haddock loin (I never knew haddocks had loins.....but you learn something new every day)
If fish have fingers, why shouldn't they have loins? :rotfl::rotfl:
A big welcome to all the newbies lately. Ask any questions you need to - no question is considered daft if you don't know the answer
To the person who mentioned eBay (sorry, can't remember who it was). It's so much cheaper to go to group to get your books, even if you never want to go back. You will get everything you need + an explanation of the plan for less than a tenner. Ebay are often rip-off prices!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
