Hi
I have had 3 weigh ins so far and lost 3 lbs twice and then 2 lbs, but the problem is i expected the weight to come off quicker!!! am i being unreasonable to expect this? and i am having 15 syns a day, is it ok to go over this or will this lead to weight gain? to be honest im really bored with the diet already. would be grateful for any advise please, thanks.0 -

Honestly? Yes you're being unreasonable to expect the weight to come off quicker. 2lbs a week is a very good average weight loss, any more and you'll find it harder to keep it off. My average is 0.8lbs a week.
Going over 15 syns a day will not necessarily mean you gain weight, but you won't lose as much weight as if you stick to 15.
Lastly, if you're bored then spend some time looking at ways to spice it up a little. It sounds like you're wanting to use more syns, can you post us a typical food diary for a day and maybe we can help you cut out syns from somewhere to allow you more syns for what you're craving?0 -
Afternoon all! I have been pretty good again, I'm desperate to limit the impact of the awful weekend (reckon I must have had 40 extra syns plus the pizza express:eek:). WI tomorrow and I'm really scared!
Food for today:
B - yog + nana
L - lamb rogan josh (with added toms and shrooms)
D - steamed cod, rice and veg
Snacks - kiwi,
Did some HM hummus, salsa and herb dip for the weekend cos I know I'm gonna be busy then.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

question - how many eggs are you 'allowed' to eat during a day/week? i ask because i had 2 yesterday and 2 today and i know they're quite high in cholesterol..."I believe in manicures.
