Morning all, I struggled to find the thread this morning, we'd fallen onto page 2! Hope its not becuase you've all been attacked by fairies!!
I'm having a green day today simply because I had some beans to use up and I couldn't make them fit success express!
WI tonight, fingers crossed for a STS.
Brekkie - beans and scrambled egg, banana
Lunch - more yukky roasted veg pasta with some philly (3) stirred in to try to make it a bit nicer! yogurt, pineapple, jelly (0.5)
Tea - baked fish (HEB), sw chips, mushy peas
HEA - milk in tea, need to get another HEB in, might have a little sandwich to keep me going till tea which will be after 9pm as OH is on late shift.0 -
Not sure what this week's weigh-in is going to bring me. Been good food-wise aside from last Wednesday (chicken and chips
) but only been able to hit the gym twice thanks to being flu'd up since Sunday, and I can't help but feel that my body is storing it's water...
Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Christening so buffet food and cake (very off plan)

Another doughnut and chocolate, meals on plan though.
Tues
Lunch on plan, then nandos with chips, popcorn and more christening cake (all gone now).
I hate to think about the syns! I use the myfitnesspal app on my phone to record my food diary and that does calories for me too. I've been well over 1200 calories a day and eating the wrong things. Ooops.0 -
WI this morning and STS nooooooooooooooo
2 weeks now, and have stuck with the slimming world way all the way
I'm starting to think the only way to lose is to chop off a limb
I'm sticking with it though, cos I feel great and healthy, and just hoping things will move soon.
Food for today
EE again
Brek: Banana and FF Yogurt (never have time to make anything in mornings)
Lunch: Chicken salad (lettuce, tom's, cuc, onion, mushrooms, FF cottage cheese)
Afternoon snack: 4 tangerines
Tea: Salmon fillet, Jacket Potato, sweetcorn, sugar snap peas
Skimmed milk in tea HEA
Pub tonight: 4 large vodkas & diet coke (15syns + 5 saved up)
After pub snack (its a must) Brown bread HEB, 2 turkey rashers and bunch of grapes
What is this success express I keep seeing pop up??? Does it speed weightloss?? XXX0 -

Lil_me, 1200 cals is the absoulte minimum anyone should be having anyway (I did years of calarie counting!). How much over were you?0 -
Does anyone make weetabix cake? Is it like malt loaf? Just tried some malt loaf for the first time since hating it as a kid and quite enjoyed it! If I could make weetabix cake I could partly count it as my HEB and add a few syns!
Success express is just another SW plan I think but from a few years back. It's a bit like EE in that you can have free food from both the red and green plans but you have to have 2/3rds superfree with each meal and snacks should be superfree (but can include HEs too). You get 2 of each HE but you have to count syns at the highest value (whereas on EE you count the lowest one).
Hope that made sense! Consultant31 posted a more detailed description earlier in this thread. I quite like SE as you can have the red and green free foods but still get 2 of each HE but I do find it quite difficult to get 2/3rds superfree in! It does seem to be having a dyno rod effect though lol!0 -

Sounds like a healthy eating day susiebear, im sure the weight will start coming off soon. How much do you want to lose? STS is an acheivement in its own right remember :T0 -
Could anyone please tell me the syn value of those New Yorker raisin and cinnamon bagels? I looooove them, but think they will have to be bnned for a while :-(0

morning gang. still off work with this horrible lurgy... can't muster up the energy to go to the shop (I'm still in bed as i type this
) so looks like it'll be a greeny day again;
breakfast - boiled incher with cottage cheese, mustard (.5 syn) wholegrain ryvita (1/2 HEB)
lunch - boxed up tuna pasta that was meant for work, fruit salad
dinner - leftover baked potatoes with beans and cottage cheese
snacks - leftover smash bhajis, milk for teas/coffees (HEA)
I know my menu doesn't look too inspiring but it's all i can really manage, lots of nice soft stuff that'll be easy to swallow.
This may have been mentioned earlier in the thread so apologies if duplicating, but did anyone watch the truth about diet food that's been on BBC3? just goes to show how low bad low fat micro meals like WW and the like are more harm than good. also given me a good ol' fright about my diet juice addiction. have been trying to cut back and stick to sparkly water if i'm needing something with a bit more 'fizz'.
