Hi all
May I join the thread?
I am a bit of a slimming world veteran but having rejoined in Jan am really struggling to make progress. Have only lost 1.5 lbs in the last 7 weeks so I think getting organised and writing things down here will help.
Today is EE
Brekkie- 0% greek yogurt, banana and cinnamon
Lunch - grilled bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and scrambled egg (milk from allowance - 250 ml semi skim milk for coffee etc - A)
Snack - Hifi bar (B)
Tea - grilled tilapia fish with mango salsa (coriander/onion/chilli/parlsey/mango) and spicy couscous and a side salad - will probably have some yogurt and fruit after
Syns - cornmeal flour for dusting fish (2) pom bear crisps (5)
I am going for using my syns per week otherwise I tend to feel I have to use the whole 15 every day (psychologically I think a weekly limit may work better) - so starting today with a total of 105Back to comping! July wins: Frylight August wins: Pixar DVD, Diesel Watch,£75 hamper brioche products September wins bath soak
Thanks to everyone who posts comps and help :beer:0 -

Well arent You all a big set of losers eh !!!:j:D:j:D:j:D:j:D:j:D:j
Flipping very well done :T:T
Well my hamster face is definately a lot less 'big' todayAND I managed to brush that bit of my mouth too (very gently as I was a bit scared....being a big girly puff)
Woohooo I think I may be able to eat a bit better today as wellthough a fibre plus bar may just be pushing my luck
Physio day for me....and its WI tonight-any positive vibes sent my way will be gratefully received on both counts
Not sure on a meal plan as yet I will have a think & post in a bit when Ive been to physio (but it will revolve around porrige & soup no doubt)
Best of luck for today and tonight, Dizzikins! :T
I'm just making steak and kidney, with added spinach and I've put in half a can of mushy peas too a la "mushy pea curry" to see if it works. It was mentioned on the radio as I came home (steak & kidney pudding to be exact, I'm not doing the pudding bit) and I just droooooooooled at the thought. It's ready now, it smells divine. (onion, garlic, herbs, spoonful of marmite, splosh of worc sauce, splosh of mushroom ketchup, beef oxo cube, splosh of v.nice red wine, can of chopped tomatoes - that's the other ingredients in case it's fab, cos I immediately forget what I've put in):jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Evening all,
quickly reporting in my day's efforts.
Today's plan : Red (was going to be EE, but I wanted a 2nd HeB)
B - WW yogurt, banana, nectarine
L - pork ribs (4.5 syns), cucumber, coleslaw (1 syn), 2 slices nimble wholegrain [heb]
D - Eat smart sausages (1.5 syns), potato, beans (3.5 syns), gravy (2 syns)
milk in teas [hea]
Snacks - Fibre plus bar [heb2]
So that's not exactly a day full of fruit & veg, which isn't like me, but dinner tonight was a bit made up on the hoof, because I'd planned to make a SW herb sausage loaf, which I tried at the taster evening and was yummy, so I got the recipe. However, I forgot I was meant to be at parents' evening for my youngest tonight, which fell right at the time I'd usually prepare dinner, and obviously I remembered too late to prepare it all beforehand. We'll have the sausage loaf tomorrow instead.
I am a bit disappointed to find that MrM doesn't stock an extra lean minced beef, although it did have minced lean pork. I ended up buying 2 packs of the pork mince, and 3 for £10 packs of chicken portions, and a whole chicken. Hey ho.
I drove #1 son down to the new MrT's that due to open here next wk to collect his new uniform, and it's looking very swish, and much bigger than the MrS in town. It will be so nice to finally have a choice of s/mkts, and hopefully a bit of keen rivalry and price competition. Hard to believe that MrS has been the only s/mkt in town for more than 10 yrs.
Couldn't get out to the gym again today, as I was waiting in for a courier to collect something today. I'll get there tomorrow. It's half-term next week, so I can go any day I want then anyhoo. I like to keep structure in the days I go usually, but it's no bad thing to miss one day rarely.
Right, off to have a nice cuppa now. Fingers crossed for any weigh-ins tonight, or tomorrow. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Hi all, well done all you losers, I had STS this week, not a bit jealous honest!!!
Food today EE
Brek: Banana & FF Yogurt
Lunch: HM veg soup, cheese butty HEA & HEB
Tea: Chicken chow mein (7)
Supper: Couple of chicken drumsticks & strawberries to follow.
What I am finding hard to understand is how some of the free foods are actually free. EG Mug shots are approx 250 calories and I think I am right in saying I could eat 2 of these(500 cals) for supper without any adverse affects but if I had a bag of French fries at 87 calories and only 3g fat, I would be using up 4.5 syns. I just feel 500 calories is way to much to be syn free.0 -
Hello all,
Thanks so much ebayqueen and thevicster for your kindness. I know the plan works, I lost 3 stone in 10 months and have kept within target for two years but since Christmas (I put on 6lbs) I just don't seem to be able to get going again. I am now 11 out of target range and I feel SO low. Even a ride on Dizzy's tank doesn't fill me with excitement (sorry Dizzy).
NEWBIES - please don't be put off by my moans and groans. THIS PLAN WORKS - but as ebayqueen said your head has to be in the right place.
I'm sure mine will be in right place sometime soon.
Well done all you losers - keep up the good work.
This thread is the best !! x0 -

well done Dizzy! And a hint from me: do NOT buy The Food Doctor's dry roasted soy beans (soy nuts they call 'em) because I'm afraid, tasty though they are, they will ADD to the dynorod effects. I shall have to severely limit the number I eat.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

And me for the second bottle!
It was all going so well until the talk tonight had a buffet (they didn't say this beforehand!). I didn't go mad, but I did have some, which wasn't within plan for today at all!
Much huff and puff. Plus I'm going for a night out with the girls tomorrow, and am not always known for staying on the healthy diet drinks. I will I will I will remain within syns tomorrow. 4 G & slimline T's. No syns on food. No takeaway food.Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
Another 1lb bites the dust for me! Very pleased. I've now lost every week since the 6th Dec. That's 10 weeks!! I can't believe it! 4.5lbs to target.
Big thank you to everyone on here, just reading the thread and posting (even if it is nonsense) is keeping me on the straight and narrow.0
