Yes but some people can eat tonnes of them - 5 a time - and then they wonder why they need dyno treatment! ;) One or two a day is absolutely fine.

TakeItEasy - no words, just a virtual hug. x

1lb off for me today. was a tad disappointed but its down, and its double my last month or two's weekly average! ;)

Having an odd tea tonight but its gorgeous, crunchy nut clusters with chocolate curls - using the freebie from Tescos and I am hopeing once a night after WI won't hurt, especially as its in lieu of a normal dinner. Early night for me so I'm not tempted to eat and more! :D

I'm going to try a red day or two this week, see if I can spice things up that way. Tomorrow I'll make some butternut squash-based soup, and I'll prob have a quorn chunks and passata type lunch. Dinner'll be the other lovely lamb shank, nobbies (I still giggle when I hear that! :rotfl:) and the spinach/marscapone combi, and that'll do as my syns for the day.

Hi, haven't posted for a few days but had my first WI tonight and lost 11lbs! I can't quite believe it! In fairness, I do have a lot of weight to lose and it was THAT week last week so am hoping it will slow down a little as it does seem a drastic loss! But still I#m soo happy!

    Tomorrow's menu will look a bit like this;

    Green
Breakfast - fat free yoghurt and fruit
Lunch - either mugshot or omlette with 2 57g brown rolls (2 x heb)
Tea - probably some sort of pasta with philly light (hea) and mushrooms
snacks - fruit, fat free yoghurt, 350 ml skim milk (hea), hot choc (5/6 syns), haribo starmix (4.5 syns) not sure what else yet!

Thanks so much for your support over the last week, it's much appreciated xXx

hi all, the posts are really encouraging,
I went to weigh yest and boo hoo gained half a pound but hey ho onwards and upwards, ive started again today!!!!
Porridge for breakfast with milk from allowance (b box)
Salmon sandwich for lunch (b box) for the white bread
    Salmon was synned
    celelbration mars bar
Tea pasta with onion, tom, tuna and pepper.

I hadnt prepared so sandwich from tea bar in work and the mini mars was um um an oversight so ill look up the syns now

I wondered which plan you were doing? I'd say you definitely need more fruit and veg.

Thanks for the replies dizzy and skintslimmer. I've nothing like the reasons you two have to not exercise. I had a minor op on my leg and the stitches only came out yesterday. I'm feeling a bit wary as I'm going away for a few days next week and I don't want to do anything to set it back. Also. I know I've gone over my syns this week due to two restaurant meals with wine. I've been very good in between but I know I'm over, so obsessing a little. I know it sounds horribly ungrateful but I want to push on with my weightloss and socialising is getting in the way. I can't go to Paris next week and spend the time searching for jacket potatoes and baked beans.:rotfl:

That's truly amazing, I don't think I've ever heard of such a loss in a week. You must be so delighted.

Just thought I'd mention that Philly is definitely a HEB (I just checked my book as I've been caught with this before). So you could either have one bread roll or syn it and you have a HEA going spare.
  • Hi all,
    Fantastic loss thevicster great start!
I'm still rubbish at the moment but I am really going to try this week (trouble is I've said this for a few weeks now!)
Welcome to all newbies and well done to all the losers. x
