Morning all..
Hugs to those needing one -seems to be quite a few at the moment.....
Last night I made the coq au vin base but only used 2 chicken breast, diced - I know I can't manage a full one so I figured it would leave an extra portion for another day -but when I came to put it out I only used half -so we have another 2 portions left (as a bonus its more economical too:p). Hubby is home for lunch today so he will be having some on some rice n peas from the fridge (eee I love those "use it up days") and I will freeze the other portion for another quick lunchooh and I have extra veggies cooked too which Im using for my lunch ...
we will be nipping shopping this evening as I need more water, milk, fruit n salad.... but I think thats all (famous last words)
anyhoo my meal plan for today is:-- 500ml semi (A)
- lemon juice in warm water (ss)
- grapefruit (ss)
- salmon fillet
- cabbage (0.5)
- cauli (sf)
- nobbies (sf)
- raspberries (ss)
- activia (2.5)
- jacket potato
- cottage cheese
- lettuce (sf)
- cucumber (sf)
- tomato (sf)
- onion (sf)
- red pepper (sf)
- tickled cabbage (sf)
- tickled beetroot (sf)
- tickled gherkin (sf)
- fibre plus (B)
- lychees
- activia (2.5)
Right Im off again....

OH and I are having our valentine's treat tonight so the syn situation's not going to get any better!! Back on the tank in the morning....are you still driving Dizzy?

Morning all. Remember the dinner housemate cooked last night? Garlic mushrooms and prawns on toast? You know the one, where I had used all my syns and healthy extras and was on green?? Turns out it was in not just oil but creme fraiche as well! She did it in low fat CF bless her, but still, I must have topped 30 syns yesterday! So I feel all at sea with a dodgy liferaft for tonights WI.Think she must have been trying to impress a new boy - think it worked, there were 2 coffee mugs on the side when I surfaced this morning!
The only hope I'm holding on to is today is a sporty day. Just waiting for brekkie to go down (choc weetabix & nana) and I'll tackle weights, X trainer, go for a walk, and do Davina at some point before tonight. Shouldn't leave much time to eat!Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
Ohhhhhh please do let us know how the butter chicken is ..... I've had my eye on making that for a while now.
I had the butter chicken last night and it was yummy. I haven't had 'proper' butter chicken so I can't compare but I would definately have again. It does take a while to make but I froze into portions.
The only changes I made to the recipe were I used powder ginger instead of fresh, I didn't use cardamom pods and I used less chicken in case I didn't like it as I hate waste. I can't believe it was free on extra easy and originals days. I would definately make this again
Have a good day everyone

Morning all,
Lots of hugs for those who need them, my Dad is fighting cancer too, still undergoing treatment and although they've caught it early and the prognosis is good at the moment, the tumours they've removed have been extremely vigorous. It's a horrible disease and affects so many people, I just wish they could find a cure and soon !
I'll be running the race for life again this year so I've got to get my bum in gear as I want to actually 'run' it instead of walk. I ran before (a few years back) but since putting on my weight, the best I could muster up was a 'power walk' last year. I want to do everyone proud so I'm going to train hardWho knows, I might lose a bit of weight in the process ! :j
It's WI tonight for me, no idea how I've done but clothes feel looser. I'd like to do 2lb but we shall have to wait and see !

If it was yesterday that you had the naughty day......it may not have time to register on the scales yetBUT it will be next week when it rears its head.....so you've got some time to go for it and make amends with a bit of luck

1/2 HEA for teas
L Dyno rod soup (left chunky) it was not to my liking whizzed up

Have you got ingredients in to make a Quorn shepards pie, chilli or spag bol? (you could even make it without the quorn mince?!)
Then you could be on green & save a heb for some more oat so simple or weetabix etc.0 -

Im a quorn virginI did buy a bag of frozen quorn chicken style pieces but they havent left the freezer yet, I suppose I could make something with those if I chop them up really small then I dont have to chew so much?
