That's a good thing isn't it.:rotfl: Sorry, don't mean to sound unsympathetic. At my group we're even pleased for people who get a tummy bug!

    .

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: well that thought did cross my mind last night when I couldnt munch a penguin wafer & saved some syns :T
Big hugs for all people who need them, and can I please have a little share of the hugs myself as I got home to find my dear sweet cat, Micky (Mick Jagger) had died. I was kind of expecting it, he's been not himself for about 4 days ... but I am still very very sad :o(

Aww hun....Im so sorry about your cat :(
sending special Dizzy hugs your waysmiley-hug002.gifx x x I'm a real cat person, and remember being heartbroken when my cat smokie died aged 18,he had become one of the family not just a pet.

Then a few years ago a lovely stray that adopted us (she used to follow me everywhere.....including to nursery when I was taking my son & the local supermarket If I didnt make sure I locked her in the house before I set off!:p One day I couldnt catch her but she darted off into the back garden so I set off.....but she must have been creeping about behind me and bolted over the road after me as I crossed a main road & a car hit her :( so sad.

Fab loss this week Jim :j

Well done Tracey :T Fingers crossed for all todays Weighers.

Im not sure what sort of day Im doing today....so far it neutral

My face is all swollen & sore so anything not 'chewy' is on the cards. Im Hoping the 'Bad Boy' amoxicillin 500 starts working today and takes the horrible throbbing pain away before I ram my head through the nearest available wall :(

So far today the menu has been

Brekki oats so simple (golden syrup) HEB+1.5 syns 1/2 HEA +water
    1/2 HEA for teas

lunch Dyno Rod soup....whizzed up (not as nice this way :o)

    Tea ?? (will update later)

I may do a green day today so I get 2 HEA/HEB and have some more Oats so simple for supper when I get my choccie craving instead of the (unchewable) penguin or fibre plus

Just a thought.....how in the heck can I have a flippin absess (sp?) if ive just spent 2 week on antibs & steroids already??:huh:

  • Afternoon All,

Sorry to hear about your Cat B-R, i hate loosing parts of the family, as a guinea pig owner (8 of them atm!) i know this from experience.

I put on 1lb last night - not surprising! I am the same weight i was last April - not good - my 3 stone aim for my birthday is getting further & further away! So far in 5 weeks i have lost 2lbs! I need to do more exercise!

My Brother however lost 4.5lbs! And got his 1stone award! 1stone 3lbs in 5 weeks - lucky b****r!

I need to stay away from the Chocolate!

Going to try and eat my syns during the day instead of saving them for the evening i think! (i will try!)

BTW - my 'failed' attempt at the 0.5syn roulade was a success! Everyone loved it, even if it did look yuk!

Not been a good day today - been on verge of crying all day - think it should be TOM (don't have the actual visitor though!) or that everything is just getting on top of me atm - work is stressful & trying to concentrate on plan & Uni work needs to be done! ARRRRGGGGHHHHH - can i go home yet?

    Green day again today
B - rice, ff from frais, cherries
L - Pasta n Sauce with added mushrooms
    S - Banana, Alpen light (1/2heb), French Fries (4)
    D - Veg & bean soup
S - Alpen light (1/2heb), I fancy some cereal for desert either porridge & use scan bran to dip in soup or choco weetabix!
    Milk (hea) in coffees

    Hugs to everyone x

Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind another newbie joining the thread? :)

So sorry to hear about your cat Blackberry-Rum, hope you don't mind big hugs from a stranger, but my little one is very sick too, it's awful when we lose them :(

I joined Slimming World last week (not for the first time, but the last time was twenty years ago so probably doesn't count). Everything has changed! lol lol

Am doing Extra-Easy just to try it out, only lost 1/2 pound this week, but wasn't surprised - went out on Saturday night and by my (probably underestimated) count had about 111 syns! Am going to try much harder this week, and I'm thrilled to find a thread on MSE :)

I do have a question - I don't normally eat breakfast or lunch at all, so I'm trying hard to do that, but I'm mostly having fruit, maybe with a Mullerlight or Hi-Fi bar as that's all I can really stomach. I eat a lot in the evenings, but will not eating a lot during the day ruin my weight loss?

Many thanks for any suggestions x
